Sweet Mustard Chicken Bake

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2011
cooked this last night. I only used about 1/8 cup (I was running low) and 1/8 c dijon mustard. Only used 1/4 c butter, as other reviews stated. I marinated in the fridge for about 4 hours and then pan-fried it on the stove with butter-flavor spray in the pan. The chicken turned out so yummy, it was not dry in the least and the flavor was great, not too heavy on the mustard OR the honey.

Best Brownies

Reviewed: May 7, 2011
I followed the advice of bakedbyjen since I was doubling the recipe. They turned out great! We did not add the icing to minimize the mess since this was for a school function. We also added mini M&M's on top for fun! Thanks for a great homemade brownie recipe!

Brownie Crackles

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2010
This cookie was just OK. I would rather have eaten the brownies! I might have liked it better without the chips. Followed the recipe exactly and did as JamieB said, dropped by spoonfuls into the powdered sugar, then rolled around until covered with another spoon. Cooked for approximately 10 minutes. I'm rating strictly on taste, it just didn't appeal to me.

Sparkling Punch

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2010
Not very impressed by this punch - doesn't have very much flavor. Glad I tried this out before the baby shower because I will have to find another punch recipe.

Skillet Apple Brownie

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2010
As I sit here swollen from this AWESOME dessert, I wonder how long I will wait before making again. My whole family LOVED it. I usually lean toward chocolate desserts, but this one has me hooked (I wonder if they make a 20" cast iron skillet.....??). Awesome flavor, I used walnuts instead of pecans, just because that's what I had, but I wouldn't change a thing.

Cousin David's Slow Cooker Brisket

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2009
Made this today for my family - it is AWESOME! I forgot to start early in the day, so I cooked from about noon on high in my crock pot. We didn't really like the juice as a "gravy", but I will definitely make this again, using only one bottle of chili sauce. DEFINITELY a keeper!! Thanks for the recipe

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2009
I just made this tonight, and my whole family loved it. I did alter a little to suit our tastes, I was worried that I wouldn't like too much italian seasoning, so I didn't use it all, but next time I will use the full packet. I also used only 4 oz cream cheese, but just because my husband isn't a fan of it and I wasn't sure how much of that taste would come thru. I left the chicken breasts whole, added the soup at the beginning, and shredded the chicken after cooking, then added the cream cheese. Overall, this was a great, easy meal, and my family will definitely be eating it again. I may try will the full 8oz cream cheese next time, just to see the difference in flavor. The kids ate over rice, we ate over mashed potatoes, it was really great with both! Thanks for the recipe!

Chicken Fried Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2009
This was very good, I baked instead of frying as per other reviews, couldn't believe that it stayed so crunchy. Not the very best that I've had, but really good. May try frying it next time...

Lemon Chiffon Pudding

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2009
I enjoyed this dessert, but no one else in my family did. The flavor is great, but the texture turned my kids off, and even my husband. The flavor reminded me of lemon bars, but the texture was creamy instead. But it was easy and very tasty.
