Peppermint Bark

Awesome recipe! The tip of turning it upside down on a dish towel to break it up works very well. Be sure to let the bottom layer set up before adding the white chocolate so it doesn't blend together and look ugly. I used the powder from the crushed candy canes between the layers. I had no problem with the layers separating.

Grilled Salmon I

I've been using this for years and our family loves it! I reduce the remaining marinade for a topping, but I'm the only one who uses it. You don't have to grill it. You can finish it off in the broiler to brown it, but watch it closely. Some reviewers said it was too sweet, but that's probably because they didn't add enough salt before marinating. The only way you won't like this is if you don't like salmon or soy sauce. Thanks for this recipe!

Fresh Southern Peach Cobbler

I followed the recipe exactly, using fresh peaches. It was okay and had a good taste. The consistence of the "dough" was disappointing as it was mealy or crumbly. After seeing all the rave reviews I expected something better.

Blueberry Pie

Turned out perfectly. I made a deep dish pie with a solid top, and frozen blueberries so I followed reviewers' tips: oven at 400 degrees, 5 T cornstarch, 5 c. blueberries, 1 c. sugar, 1 T lemon juice, brushed top with milk & sprinkled with sugar. I used a pie crust shield for the edges and removed it after 45 minutes and baked it another 15 minutes. It does help it thicken when you allow it to cool for at least 2 hours.
