About this Cook
I'm one of the few, the proud, the man cook. I get flack - until its time to eat. Like everyone else, I dream of being a chef or at least being able to cook chef-ly things. Or just not burn stuff.
My favorite things to cook
Lasagna, quesadillas, pancakes, BBQ, chili. I love all things hot and spicy. I think sushi is awesome looking.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I dont have any, but I do like to sit down at the table with my kids. I'm afraid that if I developed any traditions I would be crossing some kind of "man line".
My cooking triumphs
I learned frying bacon without a shirt isnt a good idea...still waiting for an actual triumph.
My cooking tragedies
I stink at baking breads and desserts. Pretty much everything I cook never meets my standards, but if people continue to eat what I cook, I'll keep at it.

Overnight Cinnamon Rolls I
Easy and awesome! I slathered the rectangle with 1/2 stick of softened butter, then sprinkled with all the other stuff, including nuts.

Traditional Russian Pirozhki
Awesome. Used saurkraut. Next time I will remember to warm the milk before adding yeast. Probably will be more fluffy. I loved them. Kids did, too.

Gravy Baked Pork Chops
Awesome, easy. Made beef gravy from a packet mix and added to soup. It made a superior topping for mashed potatoes.
