Easiest Pot Roast Ever

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2009
Wonderful, easy recipe - leaves a lot of room to expand but you don't really need to. The only thing I added was parsley and crushed peppercorns. Turned out great!

German Lentil Soup

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2009
This soup came out wonderful! I ended up using about 8 or 9 cups of broth but that is just how I like my soup. If I would do anything different next time I would add a little more of each seasoning because I use so much stock. Great recipe!

Chicken and Rice Soup II

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2009
Awesome recipe! I added more broth as people have suggested, I also used 3 boxes of long grain wild rice with seasonings (been sitting in the cabinets for a while and I wanted to use them up), I added them about an hour before serving and it turned out perfect. This also made it more of a chicken and rice dish so if you want more of a soup - use less rice. I believe me and my wife got 4 or 5 meals out of this one, it went a long way! Will definitely make again.

Corny Ham and Potato Scallop

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2009
Me and my wife loved this recipe. I doubled the ingredients with the addition of a few others and it made a total of four meals for the two of us. The extra ingredients I added were: 2 cups of shredded cheddar (might have been better to use cubed but I needed to use up the stuff I had), substituted broccoli for the peppers, 1 - 2 cups of water (I like my soup to be soupy), Salt and pepper which I would not recommend; mine came out very salty, chopped onion, celery, and carrots. I also used uncooked pork ribs for the meat. Besides being too salty for my taste I would definitely give it 5 stars, and it was even better the second and third time around, so left overs are a plus!
