Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2012
This recipe is great! I did fallow other reviewers advice and boil the veggies in the chicken broth, I also added potatoes and doubled on the gravy sauce. I did not use celery seeds as i had none it still came out great. :) I also added chili powder. Will be making again, with above changes this recipe would of been a 5star.

Bacon-Wrapped Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2011
great fast easy weekday recipe! I actually defrosted chicken tenders before i found this recipe and ended up using those to do this with and since i was unable to roll them i just put the cream cheese mixture on top and wrapped the bacon and it still came out great also cooking time was only 35 minutes and uncovered the whole time. Will make again. Thanks,

Simple Beef Short Ribs

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2011
awesome easy recipe! it was so yummy! my husband and I loved it. I did not have stout beer so i used yingling since that is what i had in my fridge (figured it would work since it is dark beer) and it did the meat came out tender, fall of the bone goodness, i also used a lot more salt on my spare ribs. I served it over jasmine rice and poured some of the gravy over the rice and ribs it was super! thanks will make again a lot.

Oven Fried Parmesan Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2011
Absolutely AMAZING! I fallowed recipe to the exact ! except i did not add fresh parsley because i did not have any on hand. Also i put some salt and pepper on the chicken as well as a little into the bread crumb mix. I used the real deal Parmesan cheese and grated it my self. I did not have the meat pounder on hand so i just took the chicken breast and slit my knife down the middle and turned it into 2 thin peaces CAME OUT TO PERFECTION. OUR MOUTHS WERE DANCING. THANK YOU SO MUCH JUDY/AZ FOR THIS RECIPE. I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS TYPE OF SIMPLE PERFECT RECIPE FOR A WHILE. JUST AS THEY SAY SIMPLICITY GOES A LONG WAY!!!! THANK YOU THIS WILL BE ADDED TO MY WEEKLIES.

White Chili with Ground Turkey

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2011
This was a great dish with a few changes :) I did not use Cumin because i did not have any. I used way less cinnamon because i was skeptical about putting cinnamon in my chili, but it did turn out good, can't imagine putting a tablespoon tho. I used 2 cups of beef broth because that is the only broth i had on hand (YOU DO NOT NEED MORE THEN 2CUPS OF LIQUID ) it came out perfect chilli consistency more then 2 cups would be like a watery soup. I did not use Cayenne peppers and only used 1 can of green chile peppers because i have small kids and can't do spicy, also i used cheddar cheese that is all i had on hand and black pepper, i also added salt to my turkey, onion & garlic mixture (salt is always a must) and i did add a little olive oil for the onions and the garlic to give it more flavor. Also i used way less cheese served extra on the side. (cuts fat in half) overall the chilli came out great we really enjoyed it my kids liked it as well too and they are only 15month old :) thanks for the recipe. (i served it over rice)

Fried Rice with Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2011
this is a good dish with changes. first of 3 peaces of bacon did not give enough drippings for the egg, chicken and veggies. the changes i made were after the chicken and the veggies soaked up all the bacon drippings i added a little bit of chicken broth to make the chicken more juicy and mild olive oil to golden/brown up the veggies and the chicken also gives it more flavor, I also seasoned my chicken with salt and pepper to bring out the flavor. after the chicken mixture was done and set aside I added a teaspoon of butter to cook the egg. OH MY GOSH IT CAME OUT BETTER THEN RESTAURANT STYLE. i also used 4 peaces of bacon rather then 3 and added grilled onions. It was just amazing even the next day with these changes I will make this dish all the time. Thanks Susan. If you do not like bland food and love a pop of flavor in every bite then you must make these changes

needs a lot more sugar then shown in the recipe. I had to put it all in the trash because it was almost sugar less.

Meatball Nirvana

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2010
the most delicious meatballs we have ever had! they are full of flavor! I will be making this all the time now. My whole family loved them, i did add black pepper and used regular milk rather then skim, i also kept the onions out because my husband is not a fan of onions. My suggestion is if you are making these for kids decrease the amount of red pepper flakes and hot sauce because it is a little on the spicy side! THANKS SO MUCH FOR THIS DISH!
