About this Cook
My name is Gianna and I am 100% Armenian. I moved to Russia when I was a little girl and grew up there. At the age of 9 my family decided to move to the U.S. My family is very big when it comes to cooking (so is my culture)growing up I was always in the kitchen with my mom watching everything she was doing and asking her a billion questions. Every time I was in the kitchen alone I would start cooking and learning. I never cooked following recipes I always created my own and put my own things together and started seeing what went good together and what did not. As I got better I started to fall in love with cooking. As much as I love going out with my friends, every time I would go out with my friends I could not wait to get home and start cooking and trying new things. Then I met my husband and cooking became even more fun because we do it together and have a great time doing it. My family, Friends and husband love my cooking and that's great because I enjoy preparing them food.
My favorite things to cook
My all time favorite things to cook would be anything Mediterranean or Italian.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Every Sunday my family and I get together and prepare delicious meals. The men would be out side by the pool grilling and the woman would be in the kitchen preparing the rest.
My cooking tragedies
Over salting the meat- about 3 times, was my only tragedy and that happened because I did not realize that here in the U.S most seasonings already have salt in it. Besides that I haven't had to many but then again I am still young and it is never to late to have one. HAHA.

Jen's Heavenly Egg Salad
I used a quarter of a lemon - juice. and 8 eggs. I did add Cayenne pepper for a kick AMAZING EGG SALAD. PEOPLE DO NOT ADD HALF A LEMON JUICE THAT WILL KILL IT.

Bacon-Wrapped Chicken
great fast easy weekday recipe! I actually defrosted chicken tenders before i found this recipe and ended up using those to do this with and since i was unable to roll them i just put the cream cheese mixture on top and wrapped the bacon and it still came out great also cooking time was only 35 minutes and uncovered the whole time. Will make again. Thanks,

Simple Beef Short Ribs
awesome easy recipe! it was so yummy! my husband and I loved it. I did not have stout beer so i used yingling since that is what i had in my fridge (figured it would work since it is dark beer) and it did the meat came out tender, fall of the bone goodness, i also used a lot more salt on my spare ribs. I served it over jasmine rice and poured some of the gravy over the rice and ribs it was super! thanks will make again a lot.
