The Easiest Way To Cook Bacon

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2015
I always cook bacon this way. I lined the baking sheet with tin foil, shinny side down. I cut the whole pound of bacon in half, so the slices will all fit, on a baking sheet. I cook mine on 350, no preheat, for about 20-25 min. I've even cooked it on 325, if I need more time. Just watch it until you get your temp and time right. Seems 350-325 cooks the fat and bacon to a even golden color. When it comes out of the oven I pour the grease, from the corner, (make sure your tinfoil has a crease in it), into a thick coffee cup, to use later. Any left over's will keep in the frig (I use a sandwich bag) for summer time blt's, lettuce and egg salads. You'll LOVE it!

Bacon Popcorn

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2009
It's bacon grease and you don't need to refrigerate it. People have been leaving it in a thick cup on their stove's, for ages. I just wouldn't leave it longer than a month. Take a paper towel and cover it with a rubber band.
