Ultimate Steak Sandwich

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2011
Very good. Didn't have any liquid smoke. Also used it as a wrap instead of on a traditional roll. Will definately make again.

Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2011
My family call these the "devil" cookies because they are so good they can't stop eating them. My son's friends offered to pay me to make them some. I only cook about 9 minutes, better undercooked then overcooked.

Chicken and Red Wine Sauce

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2010
We didn't like this one at all. Chicken looked like pickled eggs and had a weird sweet flavor. This one will definately not get a second chance

Double Layer Pumpkin Cheesecake

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2010
I'm in like with this just not love. Very good. Used the pumpkin pie filling shortcut and bumped the creamcheese up by 1/2 block just because I had it leftover in the refrigerator.

Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2010
Excellent!! I did have to adjust the recipe slightly. I only had a can of pumpkin pie filling. So used that and bumped all the spices by about 1/2tsp. A definate keeper. Going to be on my Christmas baking list for gifts this year

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2010
This didn't turn out at all. I prepared exactly as the recipe stated. Chicken was overcooked, almost burnt. Way to salty, and we aren't afraid of a little salt. Tasted very processed.

Loved these. I have tons of blueberries in the freezer and always looking for quick and easy recipes. Topped with a glaze of lemon juice and powdered sugar.

Crab Alfredo

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2010
This was excellent. The only change I made was Old Bay instead of the cayene and bit more garlic. I did use shrimp instead of crab. I sauteed the shrimp in a small amount of butter, white wine and fresh pressed garlic before adding to the sauce.

Blackberry Cobbler

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2010
This is exaclty how we like our cobbler. More cake like. If you are looking for pie crust this is not for you. We LOVED this!!! Only changes were per other reviews. butter on bottom, blackberries sprinkled w/sugar and cinnamon next. A little cinnamon and vanilla in batter. I was going to take some to a friend to share but I doubt there will be any left.

Creamy Tomato-Basil Pasta with Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2010
We all really enjoyed this even the picky teenagers. I used both chicken and shrimp. A definate keeper. The only changes were that I marinated the shrimp and chicken in the dressing for a few hours and used a couple cloves of pressed garlic.
