Pumpkin Pancakes

Delicious. I thought they needed a little more liquid so I added 1/4 cup more of milk. The middle did not get completely done until I did. Very dense and filling. Otherwise, fantastic and worth a try.

Spaghetti Squash I

Quick And Easy Mexican Chicken

This dish is easy and delicious. I did brown it first before baking, other wise I think the cheese may have gotten too brown. It was perfect, I will make this many, many times. I served it with rice. I used the drippings in the pan to pour over the rice and it was also great. Yum Yum I would submit a picture of it but it was gone too fast.

Apple Crumb Pie

Absolutely wonderful pie. I have it made twice in a week and had rave reviews. Used Granny Smith apples, they were perfect. Second time I put in a tablespoon of flour, won't do that again. Perfect the way it was.

Pecan Pie III

Easiest pecan pie I have ever made and it turns out every time. The first time I made it I put in a tablespoon of flour because pecan pies don't always set but didn't need it. Yummy...I will make it again and again.

Slow Cooker Thai Peanut Pork

I made this exactly the way the recipe read. I did not put the lime on the plate cause I forgot. This was great, I wouldn't change a thing. My husband and daughter loved it as well. I was nervous about messing with the pork my husband likes a certain way but he was as crazy about it as I was. I served it with rice and broccoli, poured the gravy that was delightful all over the rice and also added some of those green onions and peanuts in the rice and WOW!!!!! You gotta try this recipe, it's the BomB!!!!!!!

Old-Fashioned Vanilla Pudding

Not sure what happened but it didn't turn out well for me. The taste was ok, the texture wasn't. I doubled the recipe and made a banana pudding, put bananas and vanilla wafers in it and it did not set right. I liked the taste so I may try it again sometime but there are many others out there just as good and they turned out much better.

Chocolate Cream Pie II

This pie was just wonderful, the best chocolate pudding I have ever tasted. I put it in a deep dish 9" pie shell from the fridge, used the whites to make the meringue topping. I will make this again, you can bet on it. My husband, daughter, dad and friend enjoyed it. I did add one more heaping tlbs of corn starch and 1 1/3 cup of sugar, used 2% milk and 4 egg yolks as well. Followed the directions and it was great. It didn't take 30 minutes to boil but it did take a few minutes to prepare. Well worth the time spent. Think I'll have another piece right now. Thanks for a great recipe.

Coconut Cream Pie VI

This Coconut Cream Pie was more like custard than cream but it was fantastic to say the least. Only thing I changed was one extra tbls corn starch. I made it twice in one week, both times it was devoured. Thanks for this one.

Never Fail Pie Crust II

Excellent and very easy crust. I only made half the recipe for one crust and it was so much I will make two crust out of half the recipe next time and roll it out. I didn't have butter flavored crisco so I used regular, it was still great.

Fresh Blueberry Pie II

An excellent blueberry pie, my family loved it. I followed the recipe pretty much to the letter, only change was using a little more berries in the cooking part. Used a pie crust from this site too and it was great. Never Fail Pie Crust II, it was also excellent. I will use this recipe again and again, thanks.

Zucchini Bread IV

To die for Zucchini Bread. I made a few adjustments trying to get what I liked out of the original recipe and what others suggested. I did use 3 cups of Zucchini without squeezing. Put in 2 tsp of vanilla and 1 tsp of Almond extract. Made the crumb topping and added 1 cup of zucchini to it as well, just got it out of the oven, my daughter and I tried it warm and it's really good. I am not a big zucchini bread fan either and the topping did it for me, Nice and crunchy. I will make this again, can't wait for others in my family to try it.

Green Tomato Cake

This cake was excellent. I followed the recipe to the letter, well I did peel the tomatoes, the recipe didn't call for that. I read the reviews and thought, everyone of those people can't be wrong. I have hundreds of tomatoes and had to do something so was looking for recipes for tomatoes green or red and this is what came up. I couldn't wait to see what a cake tastes like with tomatoes in it. My family and I love carrot cake, carrots are vegetables. It was great, make it with cream cheese icing and without. Everyone loves it. I will be taking this to our family reunion next Saturday and see their reactions. I have already had to give the recipe out to others. The picture posted looks just like what you get. Yum......

Spicy Refrigerator Dill Pickles

The best and easiest recipe for pickles I have come across. I had an abundance of cucumbers in my garden this year and decided that making pickles was for me. I had never made pickles before, dill or sweet. Too much trouble and too cheap in the stores. I am so glad I made this recipe. I did wait my 10 days like suggested and yesterday was the day. I love them and so did my husband. They are not hard to do, the expense of buying the spices the first time is the biggest hit on your pocket book and was well worth it. I can't wait for others to try them, that is how proud I am. My daughter in law will be here to get her jar on her way home from work today. Cut back on the sugar like other reviewers said would be a good idea. They are just a little bit sweet, I like em anyway, sugar or not. I made a double batch, boy am I glad I did. I will make another batch when I get down to one jar.
