Maple Salmon

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2010
This was a great recipe! I used about one teaspoon of low-sodium soya sauce and only had minced garlic from the jar, but hubby loved it as well. Marinated in the fridge for about 10 mins while the oven heated up. Thanks!!

Megan's Granola

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2010
Finally made this tonight and it's freaking delicious! Made a few substitutions, of course (who doesn't??) and used 1/2 cup of pine nuts instead of sunflower seeds, also left the brown sugar out and used 1 cup maple syrup + 1 tbsp honey instead. Added some chocolate chips with dried cranberries and raisins after cooling. Amazing! The hubby told me to get on here and give it 5 stars! LOL

I made so many substitutions to list here but they turned out great. Thanks very much for the base recipe! No more buying packaged, synthetic granola or cereal bars!

Chocolate Coconut Bars

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2009
I doubled the recipe and accidentally put too many chocolate chips in...like anyone would ever complain about that! :) I baked it in a 13x9 pan at 325F on convection for 35 mins and it's perfect. An oooey gooey chocolate mess. Love it!

Slow Cooker Chicken Alfredo

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2009
Made a version of this tonight for the first time and it came out really, really tasty. I had boneless, skinless chicken thighs that I sliced into strips (thirds), skipped the swiss cheese entirely, and used only one teaspoon of Parmesan. I had less chicken than the recipe called for, which made for ample sauce, so I dumped the last of the converted rice in there and voila! Hubby loved it. :)

Amazing Pork Tenderloin in the Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2009
I made this for the first time yesterday, to (hopefully) impress my grandmother, father and step-mother (who is a nutritionist and foodie). It was a HIT! I am a novice cook but love using the slow cooker for meals and this worked out perfectly. The only changes I made were to substitute a can of Campbell's onion soup rather than the dry soup mix, doubled the wine, and cooked two pork tenderloins at once. Amazing! Thanks!!
