As other reviewers have said, this is a great base. My revisions: 1 - I used cream instead of milk. I'll probably use half&half next time. Also, I drained the potatoes to get all the water out. It gave it great texture. 2 - I didn't use canned corn. I used corn that I had frozen from last summer. 3 - Salt & Pepper. I added at least a Tablespoon of ground black pepper. 4 - Frank's RedHot! Perfectly blended with these ingredients & gave it a nice kick. Thank you for a good base recipe that is easy to maniuplate to still get a great chowder!

Herbed New Potatoes

Sopapilla Cheesecake Pie

So good & so easy! The one thing I would recommend is using a stone baking dish if at all possible. I made one in my stone dish & one in my glass dish in the same night. The stone dish turned out so much prettier & much more even than the one in the glass dish. Didn't use anywhere near a 1/4 cup of honey, either. So sweet it doesn't need much, if any at all. Thanks for a great recipe!

Pumpkin Drop Cookies

Great cookie! I halved the recipe, and only used 1 cup of sugar & subbed nutmeg for the allspice. Perfect little cookies & a little different from the norm!

Sarah's Roasted Red Pepper Dip

A wonderful & quick dip! I didn't roast my own peppers for lack of time so I just used bottled pre-roasted red peppers. I also used Miracle Whip Lite and Fat Free Sour Cream. I accidently left out the cayenne pepper, but I will add it next time. It was a very nice kicky dip to have for crackers or veggies!

Easy Sugar Cookies

Spectacular cookie! After many failed recipes, I followed this one to the "t" and it turned out soooo tasty. Make sure the butter is soft!

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins

Only gave 4 stars b/c I made changes to the recipe. I used all whole wheat flour, 2 eggs, no egg substitue, only 1 cup of sugar, and used my own homemade pumpkin puree. They were awesome! Great base recipe and made even better by following some others' advice. Thank you! :)

Bran Flax Muffins

A new family favorite! Everyone from the 18 month old to my parents loved this muffin. I didn't use mixed nuts, just some pecans & subbed wheat bran instead of oat bran...& it was still fantastic. Great recipe! Thanks!

Pitcher Perfect Margaritas

Quite good, but fairly strong margarita. I put the mix in the blender & added a quart of frozen strawberries and a cup of ice & it was a great addition and calmed it down a bit. Thanks!

Panzanella Salad

SUCH a wonderful salad! Served it with grilled chicken & it was a big hit. I cut the bread up a few hours before hand to make it extra crunchy before adding it to the rest of the ingredients. Wouldn't change a thing!
