Apple Brownies

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2004
These were marvelous, very moist with just the right amount of spice. I followed the recipe exactly (but I only had two apples) and the brownies came out perfect. Thank-you BakerJim.

This bread was great, and it keeps well. This will be my standard recipe when I have left-over mashed potatoes. Thumbs up and Thank-you Judy.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2003
These muffins were delish!!! I made 12 regular sized muffins, but I liked the option of making large deli style muffins. Just don't fill the muffin cups to the top with batter (they spread!!) I used a rounded tablespoon of topping on each muffin. These muffins are more like cupcakes. Yummy.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2003
These cookies are the best - they were soooooo good. Would not change a thing. Using a level 1/4 cup measure, makes about 16 cookies. Just to be on the safe side, I did refrigerate them for about an hour. Thanks Elizabeth, I will be making these again.

Apple Loaf

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2002
This bread had very good flavor but was a little dry. If I make it again I will use oil in place of butter. You really don't need to add any extra spices if you want the pure taste of apples.

Crispy Herb Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2002
I would'nt call this CRISPY chicken, but I would call this delicious!! Everyone loved the flavor. I added one teaspoon of Mrs. Dash to the potato mixture and baked the chicken on my broiler rack and pan, as the other reviews said that the chicken was not as crisp as they liked it. I will be making this dish again and again. Thank you Diana.

Easy Chicken Enchiladas

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2002
Easy to prepare but just a little bit rich for enchiladas. Sort of bland, need to spice it up a notch or two.

Giant Crisp Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2002
These cookies were very good and easy to bake. They had a slight baking soda taste, which was not bad. I used a level 1/4 cup measure and baked 6 cookies at a time, no problem with them running together. I let them bake the full 20 minutes. YUM!!! I wasn't sure how many eggs to use because the recipe said to beat in the eggs one at a time. (I used only one egg, worked out fine) I will make these again, please pass me another cookie!!!

Cream of Pumpkin Soup

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2002
I thought the soup had excellent flavor but my family didn't like it. I did not make the croutons because that would have tasted so weird with pumpkin soup. I'll try making 1/2 batch just for ME!

Best Ever Blueberry Cobbler

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2002
The crust was very tasty but was messy trying to drop on the filling evenly. Also the filling was not sweet enough and tasted funny with the orange juice. My family didn't care for the taste. Sorry Jen.

Chicken Breasts Pierre

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2002
This is a quick and easy chicken dish to prepare. My family loved it. I put all the sauce ingredients in the blender until smooth. (left out the hot pepper sauce and the 1/2 cup water) Uncovered pan the last 10 minutes to thicken up the sauce. This recipe is a keeper. I will make it again, soon. Thanks Nancy.

Blueberry Pound Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2001
This is a very tasty pound cake but a little to sweet. Next time I bake this cake I will not sprinkle the pan with 1/4 cup sugar. Batter is very thick so the blue- berries do not sink to the bottom, I like that.

Alice's Sour Cream Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2001
This recipe has a very unique flavor, easy and quick to prepare. I added garlic and mushrooms. Sauce cooks up very thick, wonderful over rice. This is not a dish for children, they probably won't care for the taste. I will make this again.

Very Berry Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2001
Really Yummy!!!! The addition of oats was a plus. My family really loves them. I like them a little sweeter, so I add 1/2 cup sugar. Have made them several times. Will make them again (as long as my berries last).
