Big Al's K.C. Bar-B-Q Sauce

Fried Chicken with Creamy Gravy

OH MY STARS (five of them!!)!!!! This was so incredible. The breading is PERFECT! The chicken stayed juicy. (I used boneless, skinless breasts.) IT was amazing and by far the best gravy recipe I've ever made and I am a horrid gravy-maker! Thank you for an amazing, scrumptious recipe!

Sooo yummy! It was a great and inventive way to use up some leftover rhubarb from last season before my new stuff comes in. The chutney really compliments the juicy pork. It makes a lot of chutney so I will be using it in a chicken salad also.

Homemade Chewy Granola Bars

So yummy! I can't stop eating them! I didn't put the corn syrup in. It's against my beliefs. I just doubled the honey. I also added flax seed instead of sesame and almonds instead of the sunflower and raspberry/chocolate chips. Sooo yummy! I can't wait to make the next batch.

Whole Grain Waffles

WOW! I was so happily surprised by how delicious these were! Totally healthy and surprisingly light! My kids all had at least 2. My husband said they were a bit grainy but still ate 4....so whatever! :D

Oatmeal MM Cookies

I am not a great cookie maker. This cookie recipe just changed that!! These were the best cookies ever!!! They kept their shape, did not spread all over the pan and were chewy!! Thank you for a WONDERFUL recipe. This will be my base recipe for every cookie from now on!

Oyster Sauce Chicken

This was surprisingly wonderful! I was looking for an oriental sauce to use with my stir-fry. I had run out of soy sauce and was looking for a sauce that didn't use it. This was so good. My husband who doesn't usually like oriental food loved this sauce. Thanks for sharing and this is going in my recipe box!

Pork Chops with Garden Rice

Thank you for a recipe with rice and pork chops that DID NOT have condensed soup in the mix! We enjoyed this recipe. I would kick up the rice mixture a little more next time with more onions and fresh garlic with the rice. I would also make sure that your pork has a little bit of fat on it, so the chops don't dry out! I used brown rice and it turned out perfectly. Thanks for the great recipe!

Monterey Chicken

This includes a lot of steps, but it worth it. I didn't really think that the teriyaki sauce blended with the other flavors, esp. the bacon. Next time I will omit the teriyaki marinade, eliminating a lot of time too and I think it will be better!
