Does anyone know???

Every time I print a recipe the first page is blank and I have no idea how to stop this WASTE!!!

It must be an issue with the new format because I have the same issue. the page is not wasted, just put it back in the tray.

well, thanks for your response, but it does have ink/printing on it with the allrecipes URL at the bottom.. I would stop the printer but it comes out first.

ktr2567, in your browser, select "File" from the menu bar, then select "Page Setup", you can eliminate the URL printing on that page by removing it from "Headers and footers" setup.

Not what you want to hear I'm sure, but you could simply print "page 2" rather than the whole document. I like having the urls for reference. There has been an ongoing problem with an extra page printing so most just find their favorite way to deal with it.

I dod what Linda2d does - I select Print Page 2. No wasted paper. No extra URL's. It is a slight pain to have to do but it keeps me from wasting paper.

I have the same issue, except it's page 2 that comes out blank. When I click "Print" and the printer dialog box comes up, I just tell it to print only the page with the recipe on it. It's only one extra mouse click, so not really all that much more work to stop wasting the paper :)

Also, it's NOT a new issue with the new format, as King Sparta suggested it might be. This has been happening to me every time I print a recipe ever since I first became a member in 2008.

If page 2 doesn't work for you, I highlight the area I want to print, then tell the printer to print the "selection". It just prints what you want it to print.
