Chicken Soup

You can't go wrong with this! I cooked the chicken at the bottom of the pot before adding the liquid. I used garlic, onions, celery, and carrots. At the end I added dumplings and let them cook through before serving. It was delicious and so much better than canned soup. My friend was sick and this soup was perfect for making her feel better. My husband and I finished off the rest before the day was through.

Spring Lime Tea Cookies

I don't even use lime zest, just lime juice. I have used orange zest before and that was also great. They cookies are perfect, soft and cakey and refreshingly lime-y.

Easiest Peanut Butter Fudge

I slightly changed the amounts per other reviews (3 cups confectioner's sugar, 2 cups brown sugar, 1 cup peanut butter) and these turned out perfectly! I couldn't believe how easy they were and how they taste just like fudge that I've bought for $10+ per pound at bakeries. Amazing!

Basil Tomato Soup

I love this soup! I made some alterations but they were not necessary to make this soup delicious. I've made it several times and experimented with it to make it healthier. Basically, this is a great base recipe and you can alter it to fit your needs. Recently I've made it with 1/4 cup cream and 3/4 cup skim milk to cut out some calories, and it was great! I also only use 3 tbsp of butter. I add sauteed garlic and chopped onions if I have them. The fresh basil is great, but I've used the dried basil too and it's also good!

Carol's Chicken Salad

My husband makes this when I can't make dinner and it is delicious! He makes it exactly the same as in the recipe, except he leaves out the poultry seasoning. It has been phenomenal every time. I love it on Triscuits, homemade wheat bread, and just by itself. I highly recommend this recipe, it's delicious and foolproof (just ask my hubby!)

Dessert Crepes

This recipe is perfect as is. I had no need to change any ingredients, and it was delicious! I used cooking spray for the pan and a blender to mix because I was having a hard time getting the batter to be smooth. Try those tricks if you have trouble. I put Nutella in the crepes and topped them with fresh sliced strawberries and whipped cream. Delicious!

Lemon Cream Cheese Frosting

I absolutely love this frosting. I used lemon zest instead of lemon juice because it gives a stronger flavor. I used this to frost chocolate cupcakes and they were fantastic! I will be making this again.

Iced Pumpkin Cookies

These turned out perfectly. Everyone asked me how I got them to be so soft and moist (hint: it's the pumpkin). I made the following changes: used 1 cup white sugar, 1/2 cup brown sugar, and added cinnamon to the icing. Half of the batch had chocolate chips added in. I personally thought the cookies could have gone without the icing at all, but I've only gotten positive reviews!

I make these for my husband and I all the time. It's a perfect, delicious lunch. I make them as is, except sometimes I add mozzarella cheese on top.

Chewy Caramel

Perfect! I do take them up to 248 degrees or so to get a chewier caramel. But these taste delicious no matter how gooey or sticky they are anyway!

Chocolate Chex® Caramel Crunch

Interestingly, I've never actually used Chocolate Chex with this recipe, but using regular Chex has worked fantastically. Caramel-coated Chex mix. Mmmmm.
