Amazing Pork Tenderloin in the Slow Cooker

This made the pork tough. Cooked slow and low. Tweaked with some spices and still came out bland. Won't be making this again.

White Peach Sangria

Made this Friday night and it was delicious!! I used a Pinot Grigio and peach schnapps (what I had) and it was really fantastic. When I make this again I will probably cut the sugar the schnapps and fruit made it pretty sweet.

Citrus Chicken and Rice

I gave this a three because this is a pretty basic recipe. Some of the changes I made were: marinated the chicken in an orange juice, soy sauce, and ginger mixture. I sauteed the onions and added a bit of garlic before I cooked the rice. For the changes I made, this turned out really well. I will make again, for sure.

Chewy Granola Bars

I thought these tasted good but mine came out extremely dense! I would probably do what some of the other reviewers recommend and add some rice crispies when I make again. Also I halved the chocolate chips, 2 cups was ALOT!! All in all a good basic recipe that can be modified to most individual tastes.

Rachel's Tomato Basil Soup

This recipe was ok. I needed to make a lot of adjustments. The cream was way too much and turned this into a creamy tomato basil soup instead of a tradtional tomato soup. I found it a bit bland and needed to use additional spices.

Garlic Red Potatoes

This was a good base recipe. Like other reviewers noted the time was much longer than noted. The only thing I would change if I made again would be cut the lemon a bit. It had a good flavor but seemed a bit overpowering.

Apple Stuffed Pork Chops

This was ok. I did do somethings a bit different though. I used pork flavored stove top, I just sauteed some onion, celery, and apple in butter then combined with stove top. I cooked the chops under the time on recipe and they still dried out. I think I would make again but used a pork loin instead.

Chicken with Mushrooms, Prosciutto, and Cream Sauce

I thought this was ok, but it needed some work. For starters I would probably make again but with chicken breast. I melted the butter with the garlic then tossed the mushrooms and laid in the bottom of the casserole dish. I would probably cook covered if I made again and then remove cover during the last few minutes. Also the sauce was way too watery. Had to add some cornstarch to thicken it up.

Shrimp Scampi Bake

I have made this several times already and think it is great. It is a very easy go to meal on nights where time is short. It is not exactly like a traditional scampi but still delicious. Serve over pasta or rice.

Extra Easy Hummus

I give this 3 stars because I made some modifications. I added a bit of lemon juice and a dash of chili oil to kick this up a bit. Still a very easy and delicious recipe.

Happy Roast Chicken

This was good. I did make some adjustments with the spices as I found it to be a little bland. I find that with any soups the veggies taste better if you saute them a bit to soften them up before adding the liquids. I will definitely make this again.

I think this had a good overall flavor but found there to be entirely too much cream cheese. If I were to make this again I would reduce the cream cheese or thin out with some cream or something.
