Classic Caramel Corn

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2012
This is soooo good. I love popcorn, and this was so worth it. I made a 4-5 cup batch, just to test it out, and I should have made more. I decreased the sugar to under 1/2 a cup, margrine and corn surup to 1/4 cup, salt and BS to 1/4 teaspoon. I also added some glazed pecans, best thing I could of done. Thanks so much for the recipe:)

Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2011
Fab muffins, even though I forgot the sugar. I also changed it a little. I used 3 bananas, 1/4 cup of oil, instead of a 1/2 cup. I used vanilla yogurt instead of plain. Still adding more vanilla. I also was going to add some applesauce but didn't have any so I added some apple pie filling. I also put some sunflower seeds and flax seeds in. Because I forgot the sugar, I put some brown sugar on the top. Soooo good. Thanks for the recipe.

Coconut Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2011
Not to sure I liked the flavouring. Maybe just not a fan of almond extract. Added a banana, and some coconut extract. Still, the almond extract took over. Won't try it again.

Cream Cheese Frosting II

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2011
This was the best cream cheese frosting I have ever tried. I only had 1 pack of cream cheese so I decreased the sugar to just over half. My kids and husband would rather eat the icing then the sugar cookies it was on.

Lemon Garlic Hummus

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2010
This is an amazing recipe. I don't add as much oil, little more garlic. And I also add some red hot, roasted red pepper and garlic seasoning and garlic plus(for all those fellow garlic lovers out there)!! I also love using the PC blue menu brand honey multi-grain pretzel braids for dipping(if you can find them). I don't like pretzels but these don't really taste anything like pretzels. SOOOOOO good!!!

Perfect Apple Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2009
Loved loved loved the crust. It just melted in your mouth. The filling was very good but as others would say a little tart. I used 3 granny smith and 3 golden del., next time I will just use 1 or 2 granny smiths and the rest something not so tart next time. I also did not have any nutmeg so I through in some all spice instead. First time and it wasn't as hard as people warned me. Very messy though!!!

Great Pumpkin Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2009
Love them. I used 1/2 cup margrine and 1/2 cup applesauce instead of butter. I also added chocolate chip and rasins and love the flavour they both gave off together. And I threw in some all spice, ground cloves etc etc. They turned out fabulas. Brought them into work and everyone loved them. Thanks for the recipe.

Chocolate Chip Banana Bread II

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2009
Great recipe. Made it into muffins and added some cream cheese frosting, and halloween candies. They are really really moist. I added 1/2 cup of each the sugars, and used butter instead of shortening. I also forgot the nuts. Great recipe, thanks.

Wonderful flavour, texture everything. I only used 1/2 cup for each sugars and probably could have used less. I also added a little salt. They are great, will make them again.

Lite Carrot Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2009
This recipe is tasty for being lite. I didn't have any cake flour so I just used 2 cups AP flour instead. Also traded the oil for 1 cup unsweetened applesauce. Used more carrots. Maybe too many, because it's very "carroty" tasting. I'm going to add some cream cheese frosting to see if it helps. But over all very tasty. Oh, and I did add some rasins and I was a great touch!!

Light Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2009
I really enjoy the taste of these cookies, but mine turned out like cake cookies. I did switch the butter to 3 table spoons shortening and and individual cup of unsweetened apple sauce. Everything else I kept the same. Maybe a few more chocolate chips!!! So like I said if you like cake cookies, try it with shortening, the flavour was great, but next time I will try butter.
