Pollo Fajitas

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2010
This was fabulous! Made as stated in the recipe with the exception of the chili powder and the hot pepper sauce - we don't like chili. Still tasted great!

Bratwurst Potato Skillet

Excellent! Made exactly as stated in the recipe and it turned out great! A little tough on the pan though. Still, I'll definitely make this again!

Chicken Honey Nut Stir Fry

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2010
A very good stir-fry! I used canola oil instead of peanut oil and onions instead of celery (I hate celery). I also left out the spring onions as they give me heart burn. However, even with all these changes, the end result was still very yummy. I'll definitely make this again!

Braised Balsamic Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2010
I'd rate this as a successful experiment but not an immediate keeper as I found several changes that I will make in future. Firstly, there was far too much chicken in relation to the vegetables. Secondly the serving amount was it was huge - far too much for two people. Next time I'll cut down on the chicken and add more vegetables and we'll see how it goes. Thanks for the recipe!

2-Step Garlic Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2010
I made this exactly dictated by the recipe and didn't enjoy it at all. I found it far too salty and oily. I won't make this again.

Couscous Chicken Supper

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2010
My goal in making this was a quick, light meal for two people and it fulfilled all my expectations. Having no squash and no oven I adapted it slightly - I stir fried the peppers, garlic and onion together with the rosemary until slightly wilted before adding the chicken and stir-frying everything. Besides that I followed the recipe. Altogether, it was 45 minutes from start to finish and my husband (who hates couscous) said "This is actually not bad! I'd eat it again!"
