About this Cook
I am... many things. It is a difficult thing to summarize one's self, no? I am a twentythree year old, petite, brunette for the physical. I am a taurus, and though I don't know that I put any stock into astrology, it summarizes me pretty acurately. I am very health conscience but enjoy tasting the fried dishes my fiance prefers (one might call me a bit of a feeder; lliving vicariously through him). I am a lover of beauty and pleasure with a desire for depth.
My favorite things to cook
I am an avid veggie lover as well as anything greek and indian. I am not a fan of carbs because of how full they make me feel. My man on the other hand, who I cook for more than myself, is a meat, cheese, and bread guy. Ahhhh! And preferably fried. So, I make a lot of fried meat, rice, and potatoe dishes. The spinage and artichoke dip (with loads of mayonaise) I made he said "tasted green"!

Honey Fried Chicken
The one person that gave this a bad review obviously didn't do something right because I have made this several times and it has found itself in my staple meals collection. The honey seals in all the juices so the chicken is SUPER moist and the outside PERFECTLY crispy. One of my favorite recipes. I am not a chicken fan and this is a must go to recipe for any one in a time crunch who still wants to deliver a great mea,

Butter Chickpea Curry
Very easy recipe. I substitued the soup for diced tomatoes and sour cream for the mik. I definately think yogurt would have been better though. Also, I felt that more curry was in order. It wasn't bland but, it wasn't bold. All together it was a good recipe for my first attempt at Indian.

Crab Stuffed Chicken Breasts
I loved this recipe, especially since I cook for a man eats only meat, bread, and dairy. I did make quite a few alterations though. I used imataion lobster meat that I think tastes quite good. I left out the mushrooms. No veggies allowed. I used green onions sauted with fresh garlic and squirted in a little lemon juice. I left out the cracker crumbs because I find they end up sougy and bland. I also lighty breaded the outside of the chicken with the bread crumb, flour, and lemon pepper and fried the breast before a quick bake. The white sauce essentialy turned out to be butter for me. The man loved it and it was quick and easy to make. It was very rich with all the butter though. I would make it again, maybe with less butter.
