A very good recipe. This was my first attempt at making chicken pot pie and it turned out GREAT. I did mix the chicken and sauce together before putting it in the pastry pie. I did take the recommendations of others to double up on the sauce and I'm glad I did because my husband just ate the filling even before the pot pie was done. I bought a deep dish pie pastry in order to get more filling in the pot pie; I would say that is the way to go because the filling is so good. Thanks for the recipe- will definately be making again!!
