I have tried this recipe several times and made it different ways as well and it always turns out great! While I have never used frozen corn, canned corn works just as well. This time I didn't have time for the crock pot, so I opened 2 cans of corn (drained), butter, 4 slices of cheese, 8 oz cream cheese, about 1 tbsp sugar, then milk and water as suggested for 6 servings instead of 12. I put all of this in an 8x8 baking dish and cooked in 375 deg oven for about 45 min. Served as a side to Chicken Cardon last night. YUM! Have also made this in crock pot just as suggested and took to church supper and everyone loved it. Great recipe, just watch the amount of sugar if you don't want it too sweet
