Easy Baked Chicken Cordon Bleu

I just cooked this for the first time ever. My 15 year old picked it out of my recipe box for her birthday dinner. I have to say it was one of the best things I ever cooked. It was hard to stop eatting it!

Baked Asparagus with Balsamic Butter Sauce

This is one of our favorites in our house!! This is how I cooked asparagus the first time and I am afraid to try it any other way now. My oldest daughter will sneak back to the kitchen and eat leftovers right out of the pan. Hardly ever do we have enough left to save. My boyfriend didn't think he liked asparagus, but he also says this is one of his favorites. The only thing I do different is use 1 Tablespoon of balsamic vinegar.

Red Garlic Mashed Potatoes

I made these for our early Thanksgiving yesterday, and I was disappointed. Nobody commented on them, and they always commented on my own recipe. I don't know what I did wrong, but too much garlic flavor and just didn't taste like good southern home cooking.
