Mom's Turkey Sausage Patties

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2013
Perfect. Super easy and it's just like any other breakfast sausage but with less grease. I gave it an extra pinch of the seasonings and the salt and it's amazing.

Baked Potato Soup

Fantastic recipe! I had to use a bit more bacon and grease than it calls for just because I like bacon. Very delicious and just the thing for a chilly day.

Seven Layer Magic Cookie Bars

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2010
Super tasty but also super sugary. I would also melt the butter in the pan and sprinkle the graham crackers on top for the most even coating. Some extra grahams wouldn't be unwanted in the recipe either. Despite any criticisms, I love these cookies. So many delicious ingredients... it's hard to go too terribly wrong!

Viennese Crescent Holiday Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2010
Tasty but the crescent shape made it difficult to get powdered sugar on all sides. There was also way too much powdered sugar for the dusting... ended up with a cup leftover. I'm not sure how everyone got the chocolate dip on so nicely... my chocolate just stuck to the powdered sugar and not the cookie. Still delicious, though!

Spicy Garlic Lime Chicken

Wow! Fast, easy, delicious... this recipe wins on all counts. Definitely will make again. I might make extra of the spice rub to keep around and make this even more easy. Om nom nom!

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2010
Pretty good. There wasn't enough liquid to cover and cook the carrots and potatoes that I added. The meat was tender and delicious though. I will make some small adjustments and do it again for sure. Be sure to get a loaf of crusty french bread to soak up the jus/gravy!

Slow Cooker Beef Stew I

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2010
This is a great standard stew recipe. I added a bit more garlic and an extra bay leaf. Make sure the potatoes aren't so big that they take too long to cook. Delicious with crusty french bread. All who were fed this loved me for making it!

White Cheese Chicken Lasagna

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2010
Fantastically delicious. I had some chicken lying around and the rest was a breeze to put together. Don't worry if you don't *quite* have enough liquids for the sauce. I think if there is anything to change, i would scale back on the sauce. And as other reviewers have said, white wine works as a fine substitute for some chicken broth. Overall, great recipe, got rave reviews from those eating it and I will make it again.

Baked Zucchini Chips

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2010
Quick, healthy, easy and most importantly, delicious! This is probably the best way to get my veggies. I also upped the amount of parmesan, added garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt and black pepper. Love this recipe!

Pizza Dough I

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2010
Dough was a little tough but it was certainly good for the speed and ease at which it is made. I used a rolling pin to try to even out the dough and it worked pretty well. Likely will make again.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2010
Delicious. I added a cup of chopped walnuts and they are so good. I have several first-hand accounts that these are delicious. If there were six stars, that is what this recipe would get.

Chicken Cordon Bleu I

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2010
Five stars even though I didn't pound the meat thin and roll it. I just sliced the breast open and filled it with cheese and ham. Once I get something to flatten the meat with, I think this will be delicious as my only gripe was that he breast was too thick.

Easy Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2010
Easy and good. As with most breaded and baked chicken recipes, I find this is good with a thinner piece of breast meat. It allows you to have garlicky breading with every bite!

Roasted Garlic Lemon Broccoli

Delicious. I may have went heavy on the garlic but I can't hold back when it's garlic! This is a wonderful recipe to work with and add flavors and spices as you see fit.

Cranberry Orange Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2010
These were delicious! They turned out denser than I expected but I ended up liking it better that way, anyway! I let the zest sit in the orange juice overnight and added an extra tablespoon of juice to make it more of a glaze. I put the glaze in a plastic baggie and snipped of a tiny bit of the corner as a makeshift pastry bag.
