About this Cook
My name is Sunny and I'm 28 years old living in Atlantic Beach, FL. I have an 8 year old son named Aiden, and his wonderful dad is named Drew! I love cooking! My mom taught me when I was young, and since we grew up in the south, my favorite thing to cook is Southern food! Anything with butter and bacon is good to me! :)
My favorite things to cook
Southern, anything fried, casseroles, kid-friendly, and of course SOUP!

Cream of Mushroom and Soy Sauce Pork Chops
This was AMAZING! I agree with other reviewers that it didn't sound appealing at first, but wow I'm so glad I tried it! I only used two chops and also added some garlic powder, chili powder, and cayenne to the brown sugar, but other than that I followed the instructions (other than using low-sodium soy sauce). So easy, and my family ate it up with no leftovers. Plus, the sauce was fantastic!

Texas Chicken Quesadillas
These were very good! The only thing I wold have left out was the honey.. It made them a little too sweet. I also did what another reviewer suggested and added half ingredients on half of a tortilla, then folded it over and put them on a baking sheet in the oven for about 20 mins at 350degrees. Came out nice and crisp. Very simple and tasty! My family ate them up!

Best Carolina BBQ Meat Sauce
This recipe is AMAZING. I didn't have any liquid smoke, and I took some other reviewers' advice and only added 3/4 cup yellow mustard.. Perfect!! I will absolutely be making this again.
