Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2009
I halved the recipe and put in a 9x13 pan. There was waaaay too much butter and they're greasy. I'll still bring them into work for a potluck, but I'm not sure I would make them again. If I did, I'd reduce the butter to 3/4 C.

Chocolate Pudding Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2009
Super easy. I used two boxes and 2 1/4 c. milk as another user suggested. After it was mixed, I saw on the pudding box that for the "traditional pudding pie" version you should use two boxes and 2-3/4 c. milk. I think I'll increase the milk next time. This time around I'm not sure if all my pudding dissolved. I tasted the spatula after I was done and it was gritty... :(

Molasses Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2008
Mmm!! These are great, recipe as-is. I baked for 10 minutes which might've been a tad too long. They're pretty hard, but it just depends on how soft you like your molasses cookies. Next time I make them I'll take them out a little earlier.

Pistachio Cream Cheese Fingers

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2008
These are okay. The pistachio flavor is barely noticeable. I probably wouldn't make these again.

Peanut Butter Cup Brownies

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2008
These turned out perfect. I used the foil liners and it made 24 brownies. I also used the "cake-like brownie" directions with 3 eggs instead of 2 and froze the peanut butter cups before using them. They look great!

Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2008
I added a teaspoon of shortening to my chocolate. I melted a bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips in the microwave and it covered almost two pints of strawberries. Thank you!

Aunt Betty's Banana Pudding

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2008
I've made this twice now. Both times I used one package vanilla and one package banana pudding. I've also omitted the condensed milk. This tastes EXACTLY like the banana cream pudding at Golden Corral, which is my FAV!!! Thank you for this AWESOME recipe!!

Brownie Crackles

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2008
Yum! These are really good! I have a picky-eater who doesn't care for sweets but he loves these cookies! I also had to add 2T. of flour to make these workable.

Pumpkin Bars

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2007
Very easy, and I do not recommend the 9x13 pan. I used that size and the middle isn't done, but the outsides are... And the outsides taste really good! Next time I'll use the pan size recommended. There WILL be a next time!

Slow-Cooked Country Ribs in Gravy

Extremely easy to throw together before work, but I wasn't impressed with the consistency of the gravy. I thought it was too watery.

These wings are delicious! I've made them for potlucks at work twice and have given out the recipe many times! I do think they smell just terrible when you first start baking them, but keep going, because they turn out fabulous!

Chocolate Scotcheroos

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2004
These bars are spectacular. The first time I made them, I pressed them in the pan too hard and it was torture to cut them! Make sure to lightly press so that they're easier to cut. Great recipe!
