Rhubarb and Strawberry Pie

Reviewed: May 20, 2010
So easy! I made a lattice top, brushed milk on the crust and sprinkled white sugar over it. Didn't add butter. It is one of the tastiest pies I've ever made! I also baked for just shy of 40 minutes, and then turned the oven off and left it in there for 20 minutes so it would thicken up. I did NOT cook the rhubarb beforehand. The filling is delicious!

Jif® Peanut Butter Blossoms

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2010
So simple and delicious! I used Reese's Peanut Butter Hearts instead of the Kisses for Valentine's Day. It gives them a kicked-up peanut butter taste. YUM!

Easy Cheesy Skillet Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2010
Easy and cheesy. I seasoned my chicken with Mrs. Dash while browning. Gave it a nice flavor. My picky son even ate it! Served it over Minute Rice.

Glazed Mint Brownies

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2010
I was doing great up until the chocolate "glaze." It was not runny and ended up ruining the brownies. It was almost chunky. Next time I will try melting chocolate frosting in the microwave for my glaze. Super-disappointed with the results.

Robbi's M&M Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2009
Used 1/2 butter and 1/2 shortening. It produced a nice, soft cookie. Also used green/red M&Ms for a festive flair! Thank you for sharing this recipe!

Brandy Slush I

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2009
Delish! I used a combo of 1/2 Cherry UV and 1/2 plain vodka. Definitely has a kick to it! Also used Sierra Mist Cranberry Splash for the soda. Very red and festive for the holidays!

No Bake Rum Balls

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2009
Extremely simple to put together. The mix was a tad dry, so I did add a few pours of Malibu rum to get it to stick together. Can't wait to share them with my friends!

All American Apple Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2009
I made this for my sister-in-law's birthday becasue she doesn't like cake. It was delicious! I used 3 granny smith and 2 red delicious apples. Not too sweet. Also used brown sugar on the crumb topping instead of white. Also added a handful of oats and sprinkle of cinnamon to the topping. Will definitely make again!

Butterfinger Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2009
I made with creamy peanut butter (didn't have crunchy on hand) and these were really good and peanut-buttery! Too sweet for DH, though.

Cream Cheese Squares

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2009
Yum! I topped the cream cheese mixture with fresh strawberries, then sprinkled a teaspoon of sugar over the crescent crust. I was mostly surprised that my hubby, who normally doesn't like deserts, LOVED these bars!

I made this for a work potluck and it went over really well! I melted the frosting in the microwave for 60 secs. and then poured/spread over the top. Worked great!

Chicken and Bacon Shish Kabobs

Reviewed: May 19, 2009
LOVED it! I liked the sirloin better than the chicken. I thought the chicken got too salty wrapped in the bacon. I also marinated for about three hours. The sirloin also tasted delicious without the bacon. YUM!!!

Breakfast Treat

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2009
So easy. I had all the ingredients on hand for unexpected lunch guests. I also buttered the bread on both sides as a replacement for the melted butter. I also added pepper to taste. I only had time to refrigerate for an hour but that was long enough. Great recipe and I wouldn't hesitate to make again for guests. There were four of us eating and the whole pan was gone. I would make two pans if you have more than four guests. Thank you for this gem!

Frosted Banana Bars

Great banana bars! They are cake-like and delicious. I also used the Cream Cheese II frosting recipe. I can't say enough good things about these bars. You can't go wrong making them.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2009
I halved the recipe and put in a 9x13 pan. There was waaaay too much butter and they're greasy. I'll still bring them into work for a potluck, but I'm not sure I would make them again. If I did, I'd reduce the butter to 3/4 C.
