Super Al's Cocktail Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2010
Perfect! Super simple and tastes just like store-bought. The only thing I did differently was using horseradish sandwich spread. It's all I had, but it still tasted great.

Great recipe! Made cole slaw for the first time with this recipe, and was really glad that it came out tasting just how I liked it.

Jalapeno Popper Spread

This was great! The look of it was really unappealing, but the taste was outstanding. Couldn't stop eating it!

Authentic Louisiana Red Beans and Rice

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2010
There was nothing wrong with this recipe, so I'll give it four stars. However, it just didn't really stick out as "good!" I couldn't comment on it's authenticity, as I've only had red beans and rice in New Orleans once, however this was nothing like what I had.

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies I

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2010
Best cookies I've ever made! The recipe calls for quite a few, so I made them on Valentine's day and took the leftovers out to visit some friends. Everyone was raving about them and ate almost all of them! I put them in a Ziploc on the counter and they stayed super moist and chewy for almost three days!

Delicious! I added some garlic, but I add garlic to everything. Best beef stroganoff I've ever had!

Shrimp Scampi Bake

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2010
Absolutely delicious! I make it exactly as is, but I only bake for about 8-10 minutes by suggestions of others. I also use frozen shrimp and thaw it before baking. Great, great recipe. I make it all the time!

Asian Lettuce Wraps

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2010
My boyfriend says this is the best thing he's ever eaten! I use ground pork and it's wonderful! I make this all the time, thanks for the recipe. Tastes JUST like PF Changs, but I'm sure it's much healthier.

Rempel Family Meatloaf

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2010
Great meatloaf! I had been using Campbell's Kitchen "Best Ever" recipe, which I thought was the best, but I'm so glad I found this recipe! I follow the recipe exactly and it's wonderful. I do put slices of bread underneath the meatloaf to soak up the grease. Thanks so much for the recipe, I make it ALL the time!

Cheddar Bay Biscuits

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2010
This is one of the best recipes I've found on this site. Tastes identical to the popular restaraunt and has an identical texture as well, which is the best part. It's also super easy and quick to make, and is used with things you have in your pantry. I followed others suggestions and put the biscuits back in the oven for a couple of minutes after pouring the butter mixture onto them, and added some Old Bay seasoning in the butter. Thanks for the recipe!

General Tao Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2010
Great recipe! I make this very often. So much better than at a Chinese restaraunt. The only thing I do differently, is that I use popcorn chicken to make it easier. I bake the chicken in the oven according to package directions, and then I skip ahead to step 4, throwing the chicken in with everything else. Thanks for the recipe!

Dijon Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2010
VERY good chicken salad recipe! I only used a little over half of the grapes asked for, because I didn't have enough on hand, but I was very happy with the amount that I used. Thanks for the great recipe! Will definitely make again!

Crispy Kung Pao Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2010
Great recipe. I make this recipe WAY easier but omitting steps 1-3 and using pre-packaged breaded popcorn chicken and cooking it in the oven before frying. Believe me, it tastes wonderful! Also, next time I will add more ginger, red pepper flakes, and garlic to the sauce because it wasn't quite flavorful enough for me. But still, great recipe!

Spiced Sweet Roasted Red Pepper Hummus

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2010
Awesome hummus recipe! Definitely the best I've ever had. The only thing I did different was I used about 7 cloves of garlic (I LOVE garlic!) and a little more lemon juice and spices than called for. Also, this recipe really needs to be refrigerated to taste its best, but I was impatient and ate right out of the blender, and it was still delicious!

Christmas Morning Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2010
Outstanding! I made this for four different places on Christmas and everyone raved about it! It was so easy to make too. Even people who don't like quiche said they loved this because of the flaky pastry shell. Thanks a ton for this recipe! It really brought some confidence making such a good dish for the family.

Japanese Ginger Salad Dressing

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2010
I will give this four stars, even though this didn't come out well for me. This recipe calls for too much olive oil, but the other ingredients taste identical to the delicious Japanese steakhouse dressing. Next time I will only use 1/2- 2/3 cup olive oil.

Southern Ham and Brown Beans

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2010
Great basic recipe. I used cubed ham because I have a hard time finding ham hocks at my local grocery store. Also, I added a bit of creole seasoning to add some more flavor. I also added some peppers and pepper juice because I like everything spicy.

Beef and Bean Chimichangas

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2010
Great recipe! I omitted the garlic salt, and instead put fresh garlic in with the onion and pepper. Also, I used enchilada sauce instead of taco sauce. After adding the sauce and seasonings, I brought the mixture to a boil for a few minutes to give the vegetables a chance to soften even more and let the sauce thicken. Very flavorful recipe, very great texture! Will definitely make again!
