Everything Nice Nuts

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2009
On the plus side, this was incredibly easy. That counts for a lot. The downside was that when I cooked them in the microwave for the prescribed time, they burnt a bit. I still think the taste was pretty good and I'll try this again. But be aware that you may need to cook on a little lower heat or definitely check on it before you do what I did!

Chicken Pot Pie I

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2011
Awesome. The whole family liked this meal. I also enjoyed the leftovers. They were just as good the second time. I used frozen veggies since I didn't have canned and that was fine, too. I'll definitely make this again.

Mediterranean Tilapia

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2010
I thought this was great. I read a previous review about it being a little bland so I added some greek spices but otherwise followed the recipe exactly. For my 12 yr old that doesn't like spice, I added no greek spice and no topping but my husband abd I both loved it with the topping. I'll definitely make this again.

Super Easy Slow Cooker Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2011
Not sure why but I really didn't care for this. Perhaps it was the marsala wine or maybe the soup but the taste just didn't appeal to me. Not a big hit with the family either.

The Best Zucchini Fritters Ever

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2010
I thought these were very tasty. I'd probably rate higher but I don't think my family particularly cared for these. I think they'd probably say they were "ok". I read other reviews that said to leave out the milk. I did and I think it was the right choice.

Caesar Salad Supreme

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2014
Followed the recipe exactly except used anchovy paste instead of anchovies. A previous reviewer challenged me to this because I have always thought I hated anchovies. No fishy taste whatsoever. I added chicken for a more hearty meal. Great recipe!

Puerto Rican Pork Roast

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2012
I will try this again because the taste was really good. My only problem with it was that it was a bit to much sodium. It may have been because I cut back the size of the meat to adjust to my small family.

Tuna Fish Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2011
I used 10 oz tuna and substituted celery salt for regular salt. Otherwise, I followed the recipe. I gave it 5 stars because it tasted every bit as good as the pre-made store brand that my daughter loves and costs twice as much.

Slow Cooker Thai Peanut Pork

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2010
I thought I followed this recipe exactly but I think the issue was that I used thin, lean pork loin chops. I don't think the meat had enough fat and there was not enough liquid in the recipe. The result was that this was cooked to a crisp! Based on other reviews I might try again but I would go for a cut of pork that was not so thin/lean and I would add more liquid.

I'm giving this 5 stars because it was really good and REALLY EASY. I didn't have chili sauce so I used ketchup instead and it seemed to taste fine. This is a definite keeper.
