Caesar Salad Supreme

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2014
Followed the recipe exactly except used anchovy paste instead of anchovies. A previous reviewer challenged me to this because I have always thought I hated anchovies. No fishy taste whatsoever. I added chicken for a more hearty meal. Great recipe!

Fried Broccoli

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2014
I love this recipe. I use fresh broccoli instead of frozen and microwaved it for a bit before stir frying. I also used some cauliflower and did the same thing. I've prepared this twice now and will continue to use this recipe.

Very good recipe but not a lot different than pot roast. But I will do this one again.

Orange, Walnut, Gorgonzola and Mixed Greens Salad with Fresh Citrus Vinaigrette

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2014
I LOVED this recipe. The salad was awesome. I didn't need all of the dressing and served it on the side. I saw at least one of my guests dipping his bread into the dressing. DELICIOUS!!

Orzo with Parmesan and Basil

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2014
Terrific! Served at a dinner party and every last bite was gone at the end of dinner. Just the way I like it. I think I may have cut back just a little bit on the butter but otherwise followed the recipe. I also doubled and may not have had enough fresh basil so added a couple of Tbsp's of pesto. This recipe is definitely a keeper.

Rubbed and Grilled Pork Loin

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2014
I agree with everyone else... 5 stars. Rub can be altered based on ingredients. I used onion powder and celery salt instead of onion salt and didn't have coriander so skipped that altogether. Still came out terrific.

Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2013
I will use this recipe again and again. I followed the directions exactly although I did halve the sprouts. I cooked at a slightly lower temp because I was cooking something else at the same time. I learned from another reviewer not to discard the little leaves that fall off. They are delicious! I wouldn't have believed it but I did eat the leftovers cold and straight from the fridge. Yum!

Broccoli Garlic Angel Hair Pasta

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2013
Loved this recipe! I had some leftover chicken that I sliced thinly and added long enough before serving to heat through. I also toasted some pine nuts and added before serving. I used to go to a restaurant that served a similar dish and have been trying ever since to recreate it. This recipe beats the original. Thanks for a great recipe

Apple Honey Glazed Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2013
I'm giving 5 stars to this one as well. SO easy and SO versatile. I used cherry jam and cooked in the oven. Awesome! This will be a go-to recipe for me as well. UPDATE: tried this again with the apple jelly... cherry jam was MUCH better

Slow Cooker Mongolian Beef

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2013
Followed the recipe exactly. As other reviewers suggested, I put in the green onions for the last 1 1/2 hours of cooking so they weren't so mushy. It was a delicious recipe but was a little sweet. Next time I might cut back just a little on the brown sugar to see how it comes out but all in all, it was really good as published. Ate it with rice and steamed carrots. Yum.

Pasta, Broccoli and Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2012
I omitted the pesto and tomatos and as other reviewers did, increased the amount of broccoli. I sauteed garlic in oil and then cooked thinly sliced chicken breasts. I added 1/8 tsp crushed red pepper to give a bit more flavor and added about 1/8 c toasted pine nuts. It still needed something else so I added about 1 Tbsp of melted butter. Delicious!!

Marinated Grilled Shrimp

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2012
Great Recipe! Really quick and easy to put together and tasted great. I paired it with rice and broccoli for an awesome dinner. I followed the recipe exactly but used a grill basket in lieu of skewers. Even my 14 yr old daughter (who doesn't like shrimp) came back for more.
