Sarah's Rice Pilaf

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2013
I don't know why it has taken me so long to review this recipe. I make it ALL the time! It goes so well with so many dishes, its simple and everyone loves it! I have tried it with wild rice too, it is very good you just have to cook it a little longer. The only thing is it seems like it always needs salt. So I usually add a little garlic salt in when i add the rice. I skip that step though if there is going to be some kind of sauce that i am serving with the meal.

Donut Muffins

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2010
i just got done making these for breakfast..... and oh wow so yummy! i cut back on the nutmeg because it isn't my favorite spice but i still wanted to add a little for some flavor, also i just quickly dunked the tops of the muffins in the butter not the whole thing and then rolled it in sugar and it still stuck to the muffin! i guess its a good way to cut a little fat in these oh so bad for you muffins!

Baked Potato Soup

This was a good recipie, I didn't really care for the basil, the flavor was a little overpowering for me. I will make again but leave it out next time!

Sesame Noodles

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2010
So good! i made these for dinner last night and they were a huge hit! I wanted it to be a meal instead of a side dish so i added asparagus, brocolli, and red bell peppers(steamed them before tossing with the sauce) I also added ginger for flavor and grilled chicken for protien. The only thing i would do different next time would be to cut back on the oil... it really does not need that much.

Chicken Scampi II

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2010
Awesome! the whole family loved it and is asking for it to appear again and again in our dinner rotation! To make the chicken look more appealing and not so white( i think the pictures makes the dish look gross) I added olive oil to skillet preheated to high and quickly browned the chicken on both sides but it was not cooked through. Then i removed it from the pan, added the rest of the ingredients, including red bell peppers for color and flavor and baby bellas! i then returned the chicken to the pan to finish cooking then tossed with pasta! it was fabulous, will make again for sure! thanks for the recipie:)

Fruit Dip II

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2010
This is soooo good. I made it for my 6 year olds birthday party and all the kids were asking for more fruit! I also added a splash of lemon juice it gave it a great flavor and balanced out the sweetness. I will make again

Tiramisu Layer Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2010
WOW this cake was amazing! I made it for my boyfriend as an end to our new years dinner. He was very impressed because it looks so fancy and difficult to make(i fooled him)..... as far as things i would do differently 1) add more Kaluaha 2)add more coffee to the cake 3) learn how to make chocolate curls because they looked more like chocolate flakes:( Also this was the first cake i had ever made and boy was it fun!!! i will for sure make this again
