Asian Pork Tenderloin

didn't have chili paste on hand - will get some at the store now for sure... but this was GOOD! followed otherwise 100% ingredients - did cook it longer was a little on the pink side so back in the oven it went. will cook low and slower next time. other than that this was PHENOMINAL!! ate it cold out of the frig the next day and it was still so tender!! Think I might use this on a flank steak as well

Chef John's Lemon Bars

these are a hit every time! I have added sea salt to the crust and get good reviews on that as well... always good to bite into a chunk of salt with all the sweetness of the crust and the lemon filling!!

Angel Chicken Pasta

this was actually a great recipe - made as written. what I learned I'll do next time is just bake the chicken on its own and top it with the sauce over the chicken and pasta. I wouldn't cook the sauce with the chicken as mine came out very thin - with that said - the left overs were amazing and the sauce thickened up (I did add another can of cream of celery soup the night I baked it after it came out of the oven)

Sweet, Sticky and Spicy Chicken

Dredged the chicken in seasoned flour. Forgot the ginger and hot sauce .... But it was still awesome! Added a touch of sesame oil because let's face it.... Everything is better with sesame oil. My son gave it an A+. And it was very sticky. The sauce really thickened up. Sssooooooo good! This one goes in the rotation.

followed exactly - so I could give a review on the recipe and not all my changes I would make... it was really good - will make again and agree that this could serve as a base recipe to add any ingrediant you would want! LOVED IT

Chicken Pot Pie VIII

first time making this... was sooooooo good! used premade pie crust - will make my own next time just to compare if it makes a difference with the outcome. it was still good as pillsbury makes a great pie crust! left out mushrooms (for my son) but he may lose that battle next time it would have added a great flavor. the sauce is so good. we barely have any left over! I used a small casserole oval shape dish and used up all the filling. I could see where you would be able to make two pies out of this if you used pie pans. To sum it up 5 big stars, will make again and again for sure!!

Taco Soup II

LOVE LOVE LOVE!! didn't go with Lima beans, went with extra Kidney beans. used 4 cups of water and doubled the taco seasoning!! garnished with sourcream and cilantro. Can't wait for left overs tonight for dinner!!

Creamy Potato Leek Soup II

pretty much followed recipe to a T - used half n half instead of heavy cream and added two cups of frozen corn... I made a bigger batch than 4 servings as well. thickened it up with a flour rue stirred in the bacon drippings - just put the left overs in the frig tonight and will reheat tomorrow in the slow cooker!!! can't wait!! it was delish!!

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough + Cupcake = The BEST Cupcake. Ever.

so good! was a hit with the family at our 4th of july gathering - my nephew told me these are now mandatory at every family function. I used the Milky Way frosting on this site - very rich cupcake and frosting but so good and even better with a cold glass of milk!!

Penne with Chicken and Pesto

sooooo GOOD!! used already cooked left over chicken that was breaded (another good recipe from best foods)... so I just diced it and followed the directions but cut the time down... otherwise followed to a T. my 12 year old LOVED it. will make again with and without chicken depending on the nights menu. This one is a keeper for sure!

Easy Mexican Casserole

deserves 5 stars - will take tip from other reviewer and buy chips from the mexican rest. to use next time as the store bought were ok but I imagine those would hold up better! was unsure of using chili beans but they were great and next time I won't drain because I think it would've added extra kick with the sauce. This could almost be an appitizer with a big bowl of chips placed next to it!!

so good - followed ingrediants to the letter - added topping 1/2 way thru cooking. might try it to next time putting it on right away - will make these a ton! daughter loved them and they will make a great breakfast grab n go in the mornings **second batch put topping on right away and baked - will do it this way from now on

Blue Bacon Stuffed Mushrooms

my motto is there is nothing bad that can happen to a mushroom - I love them - but this was a REALLY good thing. followed to the letter - just doubled it - had some cheese mixture left over so I spread it on the few slices of fresh french bread I had left over and broiled it. That was as good as the mushrooms!!! This one ranks right up there with one of my favorite finds on this site.

Apple Glazed Pork Tenderloin

So good - Used a Honeycrisp instead of Gala and used Chardoney (sp? not a wine drinker) instead of Riesling because that is what my mom had on hand... EXCELLENT! Can't wait for left overs tonight!!

Steff's Shepherd Pie

This was a hit! I did make changes... I used a packet of dried onion soup mix, 2 cans of cream of celery instead of the mushroom. Used 1/2 can of green beans (not a fan) and a full can of sweet corn. Loved it!! will probably play around with it a tad more next time I make it.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

OK...mayabe I did something wrong here... but this was just glorified cream of chicken soup over rice... the biscuits need to be put in way early... I gave mine 90 mins. and still didn't cook so we were fishing them out... It was good over rice but I could have just bought a cooked chicken from the store, shredded it and heated up a can of soup - combine and serve... anywhoodle - I turned the left overs the next day into the BEST chicken enchilada's!! combined left over rice, left over chicken mix with sour cream, cheese, 1/2 jar of salsa and a can of chili's, rolled in tortilla's and topped with remaining mix to which I added more sour cream and a can of chicken verde soup... sooooo good! I give my left overs 5 stars... original recipe 2 stars only because it gave me the enchilada's the next day

Anna's Amazing Easy Pleasy Meatballs over Buttered Noodles

Everyone loved it. I loved I could come fill up the crockpot and have a dinner cooking. I used homestyle meatballs instead of italian. My kids like opposite things usually both loved it. Left overs lasted less than 24 hours. Will mkae it again for sure
