Sweet and Crunchy Salad

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2013
Perfect side! The textures were awesome with the crunchiness of the water chestnuts, nuts, and Ramen noodles. The flavor was delightful with the treat of mandarin oranges. I was afraid it was too much sugar, but it wasn't. My family enjoys a lot of crunch, so I toasted almonds, cashews, and Ramen noodles in a skillet after marinating the slaw for a few hours. (Keep a close eye on toasting, it will burn quickly) Just before serving, I mixed in the toasted mixture. My pickiest eater even liked this salad. For leftovers the next day, we thinly sliced last night's steak, melted some cheese, scooped on some of this salad, and rolled it all into a flour tortilla. Yummy!

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2013
My favorite chocolate chip cookie- by far! I've made this recipe several times now and will never use another recipe. Make it exactly as stated. The edges are nice and crunchy while the inside is soft and gooey. Yumtastic!

Marshmallow Popcorn Balls

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2010
I've never made such an easy popcorn ball recipe. I did add the 1/2 c. of brown sugar and threw in a few M&M's. The kids helped make them into balls and it wasn't even that messy! Yum! Yum! The marshmallows are the secret ingrediant that I wish I would have known about a long time ago!

Broccoli Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2010
Easy! Excellent! My husband and kids continually request this for dinner. I have now made it 4 times and have been more than pleased everytime. I bet it would be great in a bread bowl too!

Grilled Chicken Adobo

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2010
Excellent and easy! My husband and kids all LOVED it. The aroma in the kitchen was mouth watering from the very beginning. We made the recipe exactly as stated except cut back on the soy sauce. We also used apple cider vinegar. Try this- while the chicken is on the grill, cut up some broccoli and toss it into the boiling sauce. Very delicious and will definitely make this again! Would be a crowd pleaser when company comes over.

Chicken Pot Pie III

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2010
My picky family loved this dish! What a tasty way to hide some veggies! I didn't have potato soup so I just baked a large potato and cut it into cubes like the chicken. The thyme was the secret ingredient. Will definitely be making this again!
