Creme Brulee II

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2009
I also used 4 egg yolks and didn't cover the pan with a foil. I baked it for about 30 minutes and it came out delicious. My family and friends loved it. This is one of the easiest desserts to make.

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2010
I used a little less sugar and used vegetable shortening instead of butter. The result was very moist muffins. My whole family loved it! I'd make this again.

Strawberry Cheesecake

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2011
Pretty good. I used the ruby-red strawberry sauce found on allrecipes.com. I also added cinnamon in to the crumbs for the crust, but I think I prefer the crust to be plain graham crackers. Also, the cheesecake is lemony, which isn't bad, but I prefer plain NY style cheesecake.

Cheesecake Lemon Bars

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2011
Delicious! I reduced the amount of sugar in each part and baked it for about 40 minutes and it came out good still. I also didn't have unsalted butter, but that didn't ruin the flavor either. I will definitely make this again.

Walnut Pear Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2012
I reduced the sugar in the filling to 3/4 cup. The cake is very moist and my family loved it. I'm giving it 4 stars because I feel like it's missing something in the flavor, maybe use more vanilla or cinnamon.

Apple Banana Cupcakes

Reviewed: May 21, 2012
Instead of making it into cupcakes I made it into a cake with a layer of apples in the middle (I poured half the batter into the baking pan, then spread the apples on and finally poured in the remaining batter), baking for about 35 minutes. I modified the recipe a bit and used 3 ripe bananas and about 2/3 cups of sugar. I think I will reduce the sugar to 1/2 cup next time. My family loved the cake!
