Luscious Slush Punch

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2011
Excellent. Used 1c sugar and was too much for my taste with Gingerale. Would omit the sugar completely and double the jello. Needs 48hrs to freeze or can quickly freeze with dry ice!

Sweet and Savory Kale

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2010
very good recipe, maybe a tad on the too sweet side. Kids liked the flavor but the dark green color was very unappealing. Too bad the kale is too tough still when it turns that beautiful emerald color briefly before turning an ugly dark green.

great recipe, family loved it. I took suggestions from others and added additional spices to flour, 1/c cube chix bouillon, & 1/4c sundried tomato.

Concord Grape Pie I

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2009
This recipe's a keeper - pie is a cross between blackberry and blueberry! We have 5 different purple grape varieties (incl 2 different Concord types)that grow on my arbor. Each variety makes the pie taste a little different and the recipe needs to be adjusted based on the sugar and tanin properties, since the skins are used in the pie. If your grapes are too sweet, use less sugar and add some lemon juice to make the pie more tart tasting.
