The Best Lemon Bars

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2014
I'm so proud of myself! These turned out great, made them today for Easter and had good reviews. Except for my super taster brother who found them to be too tart. I followed the advice and used about 3/4 cup which was less than two lemons. (I have a tree and they get pretty big) also I used corn starch instead of flour and azucar a non GMO sugar. Thank you for this great recipe.

Didn't care for this recipe hubby thought it tasted weird, made it accordingly for 5 servings, eh, then added vanilla, then more sugar nothing worked to make these taste better. Not sure what went wrong, not a keeper. Sorry.

Chocolate Layered Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2013
I decided to make this pie for my husband since he loves cream pies and I do not. Ok this tastes great but I ran into a few problems, #1 everyone is right about milk measurement, #2 my pie pan was regular not deep so I had to remove some of the cream cheese mixture before putting chocolate or else it wouldn't have fit. Now I can't rate the crust since I didn't follow directions but I recommend doing what I did, which is using frozen pie crust thawing it and adding the pecans to that. Overall everyone loved it but it was a bit much next time I'll make it in a 9x13. And if your worried about a packaged taste like another reviewer mentioned I'm not a fan of that taste either and I didn't think this tasted overly packaged if it did it was too good to care :)

Roasted Pumpkin Seeds

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2011
Finally! I have roasted pumpkin seeds before but I never care for the end result. I used less butter, only 1Tbs. and I ground up Kosher salt and used about half a teaspoon. I think it's the temp. that mades a difference. Plus I never added any butter before so these were really good. I added some sugar like some other posters and it really is a nice touch. (I have a sweet tooth so keep that in mind) they almost remind me of honey roasted peanuts for some reason, perhaps it was the sweet cream butter??? either way thanks a lot Rosemary, and all the reviewers. This recipe is a keeper!

Dill Lemon Chicken Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2011
Found this looking up what to make with chicken and dill, it's a warm night something fresh like this was perfect! I didn't follow directions exactly, but most reviewers didn't, ok so I cooked chicken with a little bit of OJ and a bunch of lemon pepper, added lemon pepper to the water of the pasta, (spiral cause I'm out of Penne) the sauce I just eyed the mayo in a bowl and added a few sprigs of chopped fresh dill (from my garden;) and the juice from one lemon (also from my yard;) I forgot the buttermilk, added a can of artichoke hearts. It as really good. my husband loved it, and my daughter liked it but not the artichoke hearts. I am reallyt please with myself i am no chef but this was easy, fresh and sooo good. Oh we ate it warm but i'm sure it would be good cold too.

I made this one a while back with my niece, it was good, but not exactly what I was looking for. Though it was easy and very moist.

Curried Coconut Chicken

Reviewed: May 9, 2011
REALLY GOOD RECIPE, my 4 year old thought it was too spicy so nect time I might use less curry, the sauce was thin so next tiem I'll add some cornstarch to to coconut milk to thicken it up a bit. I added carrots and potatos delish, now I won't miss World Curry, only to make some Nann bread to go with it :)

This was a hit, they don't look too pretty but taste delish, made then a few tiimes now. have I added a some coconut I had lying around, those were really good too. The only minor problem I had the first time I made em was not cooking long enough, luckily I read the other reviews so I just cooked a bit longer.
