Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2011
My husband thought it to be a bit bland as far as flavor goes, but I just added some more Worcestershire sauce to the dish once it was done and it tasted a lot better, other than that I just used sour cream instead of cream cheese and this dish was super yummy! Thanks for the recipe, I'll definitely make it again!

Pink Brain Shooter

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2011
The finishing result was awesome, the brain was sturdy and looked really good! And it tasted good too, I used peach jello and it tasted like peaches and cream with the evaporated milk. I would like to play around with this recipe and try out new and gory things in the future!

Stuffed Pork Loin

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2013
Great recipe, very inventive to butterfly the pork loin and stuff with stuffing, I used Stovetop stuffing and wrapped in bacon and roasted it in the oven, a little dry, but I think next time I will cook a little less than 21/2 hours, thanks!

Chocolate Covered Cherries II

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2011
I didn't have any corn syrup which is what my usual recipe calls for, so I was looking for one without it and I found this one, it tasted soo good! I especially liked the almond extract it called for, it gave it a nice flavor. I will store some away for a week or two so that I can enjoy them when the cherries have ripened and the white coating is nice and runny, thanks!

Black Halloween Punch

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2011
Pretty good for a simple, cheap beverage! Adding ginger ale to koolaid is a good idea, I will probably try adding it to different flavors from now on. Thanks!

Pumpkin Chocolate Dessert Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2010
This was actually a really interesting and delicious recipe, the pumpkin flavor was very subtle, but the combination of chocolate and pumpkin went very well together. My frosting didn't really hold up too well, the recipe said to pour on while still hot, but I think next time I will wait a few more seconds for it to slightly cool before pouring it so that it will look thicker. Thanks for the recipe!

Almond Crunch

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2012
Really great almond crunch recipe! I've never made it before but it tasted great. I followed another reviewers advice and added 1 tsp. salt to the first stage mixture. I'll try other nuts and chocolate chips next time thanks!

Yummy Lemon Salmon Burgers

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2011
This was pretty good, I only had dried parsley, but will definitely use fresh next time, I think it makes a difference. Also, I didn't have red pepper, but will also make sure I add it in next time I make them. Also fresh lemon for sure is a must!

Shrimp Burritos

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2011
They were good, but, the mayo/yoghurt mixture was not so good, and without it, the burrito was dry tasting, so I don't know what would have worked instead, maybe I'll do sour cream instead next time? That's if my husband will even eat them next time I make them after trying these one's.

Pumpkin Chili

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2010
I would give it more stars if I could, trust me! It was absolutly the best chili I have ever had. I've already given this recipe to my sister and a friend from work, who say they will always make this chili over any other kind of chili from now on. I only chopped the onion and bell pepper instead of dicing them as I like chili on the chunkier side. Also, I substituted ground turkey for the hamburger meat. Incredible flavor, slightly sweet, thank you for this recipe!

Persimmon Bread II

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2012
Moist and delicious! I had a friend pawn off some persimmons on me(I don't really care for them) so I found this recipe and I found that after baking it the persimmon flavor wasn't really there, wich is kind of bad I guess for persimmon lovers, but great for me. I added some raisins and I made a powdered sugar glaze for the top but other than that I followed the recipe. It made a lot so I brought some to work, everyone loved it, thanks!

Glazed Lemon Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2012
This one was really delicious! I made a different glaze than the one for the recipe, I used powdered sugar, lemon juice and orange juice. After the bread was cooled I poured it over, it came out really beautiful. Also I baked it for about 45 min. any longer and it would have burned, thanks a lot for the recipe!

Southwest Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2011
it was alright I guess, I did what other reviewers said and added some diced onion and garlic, and I browned the chicken with taco seasoning coated on both sides, also I added some chicken broth when simmered and it was still just alright. Oh well, thanks for the recipe though.

Candied Yams

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2013
So simple and yet soo good! I added cinnamon and the flavor was just perfect to my standards. I know the recipe didn't mention draining the yams and it is a little confusing to those who have never made it before but I've made candied yams before and know that when using canned yams this is a must. Hopefully this get's cleared up for other users viewing the recipe.

Monkey Bread II

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2012
Awesome! My first time making it, tasted as good as it looked. My husband ate so much of it I thought he was going to turn into a monkey! I added pecan halves, other than that everything else was the same. Thank you soo much for this one!

Bread Maker Doughnuts

Reviewed: May 21, 2012
This was genius! Soo easy and soo delicious. I had a lot of fun decorating them. The only thing I did differently was use lactose free milk and butter for my husband's milk allergy. Thanks sooo much for the recipe!
