Rocky Road Candies

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2012
These were good, but when I added the marshmallows they melted into the chocolate mixture. I added some more on top just so that you could tell they were in it, but I thin I like this one other recipe better for rocky road candy.

Homemade Peanut Butter Cups

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2012
This is one awesome peanut butter cup recipe! I've tried some other ones but I like the graham cracker addition to it. When I don't have them, I substitute saltine crackers, it works just as well!

Bread Maker Doughnuts

Reviewed: May 21, 2012
This was genius! Soo easy and soo delicious. I had a lot of fun decorating them. The only thing I did differently was use lactose free milk and butter for my husband's milk allergy. Thanks sooo much for the recipe!

Almond Crunch

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2012
Really great almond crunch recipe! I've never made it before but it tasted great. I followed another reviewers advice and added 1 tsp. salt to the first stage mixture. I'll try other nuts and chocolate chips next time thanks!

Chicken 'n' Carrot Dumpling Stew

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2012
Very good! I didn't use the dumpling recipe here, I used one that didn't have carrots in the mixture, as well as I used a vary of different vegetables, but it was hearty and tasted great. I did however notice something another viewer said which was that the flour mixture in the sauce burned to the bottom when steaming the dumplings, I will take care to add that mixture in after the dumplings are finished cooking next time, thanks!

Starr's Savory Meatballs

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2012
They came out very sturdy, but a little dry. I only just omitted the Parmesan and added a little marjoram. But overall very tasty, thanks for the recipe.

Penne with Eggplant

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2012
This was just okay. I had higher expectations I guess. The eggplant was too tough after cooking it, maybe if you peel the skin and then cook it will be more tender? Also, this dish could def use some meat, I will use hamburger next time, it was just too plain.

Easy Chicken Posole

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2012
Thank you for this recipe, this was my first time making it and it came out great! I was soo worried for nothing, this was just too easy to make, I only just boiled and shredded chicken thigh meat instead of breast meat.

Snowballs II

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2011
They were very good, kind of a dry type of cookie though, I dipped mine in icing and rolled them in coconut to make them look more like snowballs, but also to give them a little something extra to take away the dryness.

Yummy Lemon Salmon Burgers

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2011
This was pretty good, I only had dried parsley, but will definitely use fresh next time, I think it makes a difference. Also, I didn't have red pepper, but will also make sure I add it in next time I make them. Also fresh lemon for sure is a must!

Pink Brain Shooter

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2011
The finishing result was awesome, the brain was sturdy and looked really good! And it tasted good too, I used peach jello and it tasted like peaches and cream with the evaporated milk. I would like to play around with this recipe and try out new and gory things in the future!

Black Halloween Punch

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2011
Pretty good for a simple, cheap beverage! Adding ginger ale to koolaid is a good idea, I will probably try adding it to different flavors from now on. Thanks!

Halloween Eye of Newt

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2011
These where good, I did the traditional recipe for the yolk with the mayo and vinegar, but I did add relish as this recipe requires, it was a nice addition. It was pretty difficult to draw on the blood shot lines on the eggs though, hopefully next time I make them I will think of a better strategy!

Spooky Witches' Fingers

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2011
These were really fun to make, they tasted good, but I think the almond extract was a little overwhelming. Maybe when I make it again I'll do 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla and 1/2 tsp almond, thanks for the recipe.

Shrimp Burritos

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2011
They were good, but, the mayo/yoghurt mixture was not so good, and without it, the burrito was dry tasting, so I don't know what would have worked instead, maybe I'll do sour cream instead next time? That's if my husband will even eat them next time I make them after trying these one's.

Plum Buckle

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2011
This was really good! I especially liked the batter for the topping, such a great sweet contrast to the tart plum, next time I will definitely remember to buy some vanilla ice cream to go with this dish!
