Apple Danish

Reviewed: May 31, 2014
AWESOME! I've never made a Danish before but omg the flavor is so good. I added raisins but that is the only change I made, and that browned butter glaze is so right for this recipe. I don't think mine came out looking as beautiful as it should have but I will keep trying.

Lemon Muffins

Reviewed: May 31, 2014
This one was better than most of the reviews read, I did add a little more lemon zest than usual, and I made a simple glaze using powdered sugar, lemon juice and lemon zest. They looked and tasted beautiful, thanks for the recipe.

Roasted Lamb Breast

Reviewed: May 31, 2014
The fat on this cut of lamb is horrendous and it kills any hope of potential flavor the lamb is capable of. It looked good when I finished making it, but it just tasted terrible.

Naan

Reviewed: May 31, 2014
Although it didn't taste like the traditional naan that I've had, I thought it tasted good though.

Beef Curry Soup

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2013
I've never made curry before and this came out awesome, I thickened it using cornstarch like another reviewer mentioned and I served it over rice, my husband loved it, next time I will make it spicier!

Stuffed Pork Loin

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2013
Great recipe, very inventive to butterfly the pork loin and stuff with stuffing, I used Stovetop stuffing and wrapped in bacon and roasted it in the oven, a little dry, but I think next time I will cook a little less than 21/2 hours, thanks!

Graham Streusel Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2013
I didn't have yellow cake mix at home so I used the batter from a different recipe on this website called "Aunt Anne's Coffee Cake" But I used the strussel topping and let me just say this is the BEST strussel topping I have ever made! It had the texture I am always trying to get with other recipes and it just tasted so good! Thank you!

Simple White Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2013
It looked great and baked evenly and everything however I thought it to be a little dry for my liking. I defenately think it needs some kind of vegetable oil added somewhere in the batter. Also the cake itself wasn't as sweet as I thought it would be, not that I wanted it really sweet or anything but I used a whipped cream frosting and I didn't make it that sweet because I thought the cake would be sweet enough to make up for it. I'll make this cake again but with some changes next time.

Lime Bars

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2013
I swear by these! OMG SOOOO GOOD! I didn't have sufficient lime zest and I do regret that but still came out soo beautiful and tasty. I will make these again for St. Patricks day for my co workers!

Fabulous French Loaves

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2013
This came out great! The flavor was nice and the loaves came out soft on the inside and crisp on the outside. I did add some honey to the dough and spread honey on the loaves and sprinkled with sesame seeds before baking it. Beautiful! Thanks!

Double Layer Pumpkin Cheesecake

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2013
It looked great, the flavor was just ok. The pumpkin layer didn't really have that pumpkin taste I was looking for. Maybe I will add some more pumpkin spices and sugar next time I make it.

Candied Yams

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2013
So simple and yet soo good! I added cinnamon and the flavor was just perfect to my standards. I know the recipe didn't mention draining the yams and it is a little confusing to those who have never made it before but I've made candied yams before and know that when using canned yams this is a must. Hopefully this get's cleared up for other users viewing the recipe.

Monkey Bread II

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2012
Awesome! My first time making it, tasted as good as it looked. My husband ate so much of it I thought he was going to turn into a monkey! I added pecan halves, other than that everything else was the same. Thank you soo much for this one!

Persimmon Bread II

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2012
Moist and delicious! I had a friend pawn off some persimmons on me(I don't really care for them) so I found this recipe and I found that after baking it the persimmon flavor wasn't really there, wich is kind of bad I guess for persimmon lovers, but great for me. I added some raisins and I made a powdered sugar glaze for the top but other than that I followed the recipe. It made a lot so I brought some to work, everyone loved it, thanks!

Glazed Lemon Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2012
This one was really delicious! I made a different glaze than the one for the recipe, I used powdered sugar, lemon juice and orange juice. After the bread was cooled I poured it over, it came out really beautiful. Also I baked it for about 45 min. any longer and it would have burned, thanks a lot for the recipe!

Classic Caramel Corn

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2012
Good recipe, I only just added some almonds and pecans to the mixture. I made a halloween mix by adding m&m's and gummi worms to it after it cooled.

Blonde Brownies II

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2012
It was really good, I decreased the amount of salt like other reviewers said(1/4 tsp) however I found it a little too sweet, I was thinking next time I make it I will go ahead and do the 1 tsp. like it calls for, however the sweetness could also be contributed to the fact that I used butterscotch chips instead of chocolate chips. Also I baked it for like 30-35 min. as it wasn't set all of the way after 25 min.

Tres Leches Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2012
I have never made tres leches before but mine came out beautifully! It didn't sink and I think I can contribute that to folding in the egg white mixture just right. Don't overmix as other reviewers said, better to undermix then overmix. Thanks for the recipe.

Rocky Road Candy

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2012
When you do it just precicely right, it comes out perfect! I have made it many times but sometimes it won't set, I think I just needed to add a little more sugar though. And it really needs like 24 hours in the fridge to set. Great recipe otherwise.
