Mongolian Beef and Spring Onions

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2010
I have tried so many of these mongolian beef recipes, this one is by far the best one I have had yet. It had the sweetness of mongolian beef but yet the spice, just enough. I could add extra after dishing the kids up. . . I give it a 10! :D

I just used Stove Top but this was AWESOME! Can I say, it turned out perfect. EVERYBODY - which was a very diverse group of people loved this recipe. I will make it again and again for years to come.

Berry Crumb Bars

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2010
Excellent! I did add just a bit more sugar to my berries just because they were super tart frozen (well defrosted) berries and I knew they would need it, but this recipe is perfect! Yum! Will surely make again some day.

Caley's Classic Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2010
I have to say this is a very classic zucchini bread and it is perfect. :D We love it, a lot! I hate all of the fancy schmancy recipes, this one is very simple and yet very classic, almost like Grammas! Good job.

Sweet Blackberry and Brandy Sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2010
I really did enjoy this recipe. It is the perfact balance of sweet and good black berries. I even used frozen berries and it was just as good. Yay.

Tossed Spinach Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2011
I didn't have all of the ingredients on hand for the dressing but used Catalina to replace it with, phenominal salad! Will use again and again. Thank you for sharing this and I will try the recipe for the dressing very soon ;)

Gluten-Free Orange Almond Cake with Orange Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2010
I used this recipe for a friend who is allergic. It was a huge hit. I would cut the sauce back by half though, it was way too much. I also realized I bought sliced almonds, so I just put them into a ziplock bag and ran them over with my rolling pin a million times to break them up. Very good alternative.

Crab Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2009
These were so good. I brought them to a family dinner for an appetizer, even the kids who didn't like crab or onions - devoured them! :D The combination just has such great flavor..

Award Winning Peaches and Cream Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2009
YUMMY for my tummy. I donated one of these to a Pie Social, they were raising money for a building in our old village.. The ladies who were hosting it, couldn't resist, they bought it and ate it right there! Just follow the directions very carefully - tried it later with Strawberries, not as good.. I really liked it with peaches!

Spooky Witches' Fingers

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2009
My only suggestion, make small fingers. :D They get fat when they cook and looked more like um, rolly pollies. But the cookie mix was awesome and really tasty.

Sweet and Tangy Meatballs

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2009
You can use the frozen italian meatballs for the quickest version. Just make the sauce, throw it in the crockpot with your frozen meatballs - use low if cooking for 6+ hours, high if you are cooking less.. Super delicious - used for catering - great hit!

Even on a rainy day, this recipe was successful! (minus the tablespoon of water). Thanks, you have given me faith that I can make divinity! :D

Marinated Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2011
Either I was incredibly hungry or this was the best recipe for a marinated pork tenderloin I have ever had. I will be saving it and reusing it time and time again as it was a bit hit. So moist, so flavorful. 170 degrees with 10 minutes to rest made it outstanding!

Garlic Prime Rib

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2010
The only reason I gave this one a four instead of a five was based on the fact that I feel we should have used some injections. The flavor was great almost all the way through. The center however was practically flavorless. The crust though, OMG, out of this world!

Pretzel Dessert

This is my favorite dish ever! I love it. It had a hard time setting up but I think if I had kept the strawberries frozen, it wouldn't have had any issue.

Super-Simple, Super-Spicy Mongolian Beef

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2009
This recipe is okay. Not my favorite style I guess. The marinade smelt so good. I marinaded the meat over night and when I cooked it, it just wasn't as flavorful as I thought it would be. Also, I made a slight amount of extra sauce in order to have some sauce leftover, but the sauce does not thicken, I added some cornstarch and thickened it up a bit.

Berry Crisp

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2010
As much as I love low sugar recipes. . . This one was not too good. It was far too tart to tolerate. I ended up making something with the crisp with more topping and I added some sugar and whatnot. I dunno, I followed the direction to the T but, eh - not so good. Sorry. I tried it at least.
