Chicken and Cheese Crescents

One of the ladies at the domestic violence shelter where I work made this last night for supper and it got rave reviews, especially from the kids who came back for 2nds and 3rds! Here's what they did differently. Three chicken breasts, cooked and shredded, mixed with a large can of veg-all, an 26 oz. can of cream of chicken soup and a little milk to make it pourable, all mixed together in a sauce pan until warm, pour into a 9 x 13 baking dish. Bake at 350 until bubbly around edges, about 20 minutes. Roll up crescent rolls and place on top of mixture and bake until rolls are browned and done.

Broiled Parmesan-Lemon Tilapia

I served this for Sunday dinner to my 19 yo daughter and her boyfriend and she declared it "the best meal you've ever made, Mom!" I served it with steamed broccoli and my own recipe for French Onion rice. I made it exactly as written except I used Garlic Pepper instead of just pepper, and I added some cayenne, in the topping and I didn't have any sazon seasoning so I sprinkled it with Old Bay Garlic Herb seasoning before broiling it. I also doubled the ingredients for the topping because I had ten pieces of fish and I recommend making more anyway because I covered the fish completely with the topping and I think that's what made iit! Great, great recipe that I will be making many, many more times in the future!

Easy Turkey Gravy

My baby sister and I made Thanksgiving dinner last year for our entire extended family and this gravy was a huge hit!! I will be making it again this Thanksgiving for my family and I'll also be making it for our church dinner this coming Sunday. It was the best Turkey Gravy I've ever eaten and I can't wait to make it again!!

Beef Tips and Noodles

LOVED this. I used beef broth instead of water and next time I may add a little red wine like others have suggested, and also onion which I didn't even think about until I read it in someone else's review. I also added a good bit of fresh cracked pepper because I love pepper. We all liked this. I served it with King's Hawaiian rolls and a vegetable.

Tasty Tuna Burgers

I have made this many times and we love it. The only thing I do differently is that I use two cans of tuna, although I think next time I make them I will add some garlic and Old Bay as others have suggested. If it seems kind of dry I add a little more of the other ingredients. The only thing I ever use a recipe for is a guide, anyway. The chili sauce is pretty self-explanitary, the bottle says "Chili Sauce" on it so there should be no confusion as to what she's talking about. I do like the idea of cocktail sauce though, that is a thought for next time. I serve mine on buns with swiss cheese, lettuce, dijon mustard and a little Miracle Whip.
