Bulk Venison Breakfast Sausage

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2007
I work with quite a few avid hunters, though venison is rather new to me as a cook. They all know I love to cook, so they keep bringing me in venison - of course they also know I'll make something with it, then bring it in for them to eat! Anyway, looking for new things to try and found this - wonderful!! Everyone loved it! I made biscuits and gravy with this sausage and everyone came back for seconds....and thirds!! Thanks for taking the time to share the recipe!

Green Salad with Cranberry Vinaigrette

FANTASTIC! I subbed Feta cheese for the bleu - it was a huge success! Also, fresh cranberries out of season, so used dried.

Summertime Sweet Pickles

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2004
Loved these pickles, and so did everyone at the office. And, they were so easy to make. Perfect for the bumper crop of cukes this year. I used Splenda to cut the calories to zilch, and I didn't have any mustard seeds, so I used some ground mustard - tastes great!! Next time I might try adding a chopped jalapeno to give it a little zing.

Chocolate Cream Passover Torte

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2003
This torte was a little bit of work, but worth it. Got rave reviews from family and friends at our Seder. Definitely not your typical frowned faces from Passover baking - this could be made year long and savored!

Passover Apple Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2003
Passover baking always seems to leave little to be desired, BUT this "cake" was great and the family decided it was definitely a "keeper". This is more like an Apple Crisp. I added extra cinnamon since we all love it, and served it with vanilla ice cream. Raves from all!

Budget Berry Jam

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2001
I made this with raspberry jello and brought it to the office to get reviews. Everyone loved it (I didn't tell them what was in it until they tried it!) The consensus was that it was a little on the sweet side...maybe it could be made with pectin instead of some of the sugar? I am anxious to try some other flavors!

I was skeptical, but intrigued by all the reviews. They are absolutely WONDERFUL!! The adults and kids alike adored these...I couldn't make them fast enough for them to eat!
