Ninety Minute Cinnamon Rolls

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2010
Absolutely awesome! Used bread flour instead of all-purpose and I think they came out lighter. Will make again...and again....and again...

English Muffins

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2010
Yum! I used bread flour as another user suggested and also added a touch of honey for some sweetness. I had to leave my house during the first dough rise, so I threw the dough in the fridge and let it rise for about 7-8 hours (they would be perfect to start at night and finish in the morning!). I followed the recipe exactly after that, except that medium heat was much too high. I burned my first four muffins. I dropped the heat to low, and turned the muffins a few times while cooking. Came out beautifully! This was my first time making them and will make again :)

Mushroom and Mascarpone Ravioli

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2010
I make these every time I want to impress someone. They come out delicious every time! I skip the egg and milk, and just use water. It seems to hold the wontons together better. Also, wait for the mushrooms to cool almost completely before adding them to the cheese (which should be at room temp). Yum!

Grandma VanDoren's White Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2010
This bread came out perfect with whole wheat bread flour (purchased from my local specialty store or online). This was my first loaf of bread that actually worked!!! Finally!

Cinnamon Swirl Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2010
Yum! I thought I totally messed this recipe up, because the dough felt too dry. I just added a little water, and worked it in by hand. I didn't use a bread machine--I just kneaded it by hand for about 7 minutes, and allowed the dough to double before I rolled it out and added the cinnamon and sugar. I also used whole wheat bread flour (which I purchase at my local specialty store or you can find online) and it came out light and fluffy. I halved the recipe to make one loaf, but I did not halve the filling. I also added some dried cranberries, which are a little too tart, but still were a nice addition.
