About this Cook
I'm an average girl who enjoys nothing more than messing around in the kitchen. I adore watching people's eyes light up when they see a well-cooked meal or dessert. It's always a pleasure for me. :)
My favorite things to cook
I absolutely love to bake cookies, cakes, pies, etc. :) I guess you could say I pretty much love making anything sweet. ;D
My cooking triumphs
When I was 16 I cooked the entire Thanksgiving meal for my family, including all the desserts. I had absolutely no complaints from any of my family members -they actually told me I HAD to do Thanksgiving next year!- so that went down in my book as a triumph. :)

Incredibly Cheesy Turkey Meatloaf
Made this twice already, and each time it's been a great hit with my family. My brothers, the big red meat-eaters, always ask for seconds... and thirds. :) The flavor was fabulous and the cheese just adds to the overall deliciousness! I did add a little more S&P the second time around, and it was that much better! :) This is another recipe that will be continued in my house. Thank you for sharing!

World's Best Lasagna
Oh my goodness! Such a delightful lasagna! I wasn't sure how well it would taste -considering it was my first time making lasagna- but it was AMAZING! My brothers couldn't keep away from the pan long enough for it to cool down a tad, and my dad -who has an extreme dislike for most pasta dishes- actually asked for seconds! Everything was just right for me. I'll definitely be making this again. :)

White Chocolate Blondies
Made these just today, and they set well enough for me to cut them in only a few hours. While they were delicious, everyone thought it was a cake instead of blondies. And I have to agree. The texture just wasn't quite right for a blondie, though I could have made a mistake along the way. :) Other than that, I have no complaints. However, next time I think I'll switch the chocolate chips for plain white chocolate. Good recipe! Hopefully, I'll be able to make them better next time. :D
