About this Cook
I am a married mom of 2 with 2 grown stepkids also. I love my family and nothing makes me happier then when I make a recipe and they love it and request it over and over again :)
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook in my slow cooker! But I also love to try new weight friendly recipes. One of my fears is pie dough, but I try every year. Still haven't perfected but I'm getting there!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Letting the kids help with what they can. It make them happy and in turn makes us happy :)
My cooking triumphs
When my stepson asks me to make his favorite meal instead of buying him a birthday present. Plus he has his top 3 favorites, woo hoo.
My cooking tragedies
Wow, way to many to list.

Garlic Creamed Chicken
My husband and I really like this meal. Reason I only gave it 4 stars is due to the fact I think you need to add milk to the cream mixture or it comes out to lumpy... My kids did not care for it, but they both at least "tried" it and they are 6 and 3, so enough said there. I will be making this again for sure!

This is now a staple in our bi-weekly menu... It is AWESOME!! Moist!! and I did as other reviewers did and doubled the sauce, very yummy!! My hubby and kids eat it up every time! Thanks Janet for the recipe!

Oven Roasted Potatoes
Great recipe, but like other reviewers, I thought there where way to many spices... I used Rosemary, Garlic, Sea Salt and Ground Pepper tossed with olive oil, YUMMY!! Great side to go with my roast!! Thanks!
