About this Cook
I cook out of necessity, not because I enjoy doing it. If I win the lottery someday, I will hire a cook. In the meantime, I do love to find new and interesting recipes to try out for my family and friends. People think I'm a good cook, including my husband and two little girls, but I attribute that to the great recipes I find because I NEED recipes in order to cook. I think anyone can cook if they have a good recipe to follow. :)

Crunch Bar
I have nicknamed these "crack" because they are so addictive. Everyone who tries them loves them and I'm not exaggerating. I follow the ingredients/proportions listed in recipe and they come out perfect every time. I usually bake them for a couple minutes longer than the recipe says, but I don't really know why, honestly; I guess I just like to be different. I line the pan with aluminum foil and then after I finish making them, I put the pan in the freezer for a little while, until they've cooled and hardened. After I remove them from the freezer, I lift the entire "cookie" up on its side and peel off the foil. Yes, sometimes it tears funny and some little scraps are left behind, but they are easy enough to peel off. Between doing that and cutting them up, I end up with a ton of crumbs, but I keep them in a baggie in the fridge and use them as sundae toppings. Delicious!

Corn on the Grill
I despise corn, whether it's on the cob or off, except when it's made like this. I love it, my 5 and 7 year old daughters love it - everyone loves it. My husband makes it frequently during the summer and our guests always ask for the recipe before they leave. There is no need to change one thing about this recipe; it's perfect as is!

American Lasagna
My husband makes this lasagna exactly as the recipe instructs and it's the best lasagna ever. We will never use another lasagna recipe again because I know we'll just be comparing everything to how good this one is. Seriously, no modifications needed. It's fantastic!
