About this Cook
Credit crunch and 30 approaching i have decided to perfect my talent so i have enrolled in evening classes for cake decorating and cakes and patisserie. A sucessful business is the goal. Bless x
My favorite things to cook
I am an african girl so the things i cook would probably sound alien like jollof rice my mum is the quenn but i think i will out do her in that soon. Everyone always says at party who made the jollof your mum ok yeah give a full plate.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Party time food is always catered for the only things u spend money on is drinks and venue. Every auntie has a speciality that begs the question did auntie(a,b,c,d) make (1,2,3,4,).
My cooking triumphs
Ummm i don't really know everyone really loves my cooking from when i was in secondary school. But everyone has something that i made that they say ummm selasi that time when u made xxxxx wow so it depends on their taste really
My cooking tragedies
lol when i tried to make johhny cakes (fried dumplings) they came out lik erocks that was so funny. That about it really.

Indian Chicken Curry II
I am really glad that i always read the reviews and make adjustments before making recipies it turned out nice but nothing special and that nice had to alot with taste testing and thinking this is bland. I don't eat meat so i substituted the chicken with prawn. This is the lowest rating i have given to date and i really didn't want to i will put a really lovely recipe.

Honey Bun Cake I
This tastes really lovely. The only problem i had which was probably a fault of my own that after the sugessted 40mins baking time the middle was still soft so i put it on the bottom shelf reduced the temperature for another 20min. But everyone loves it oh yeah and i didnt add the full cup of brown sugar i thought it would be tooo sweet

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople
woooooow yes this was my 1st ever attempt at a baked apple dessert. In the uk we are not really pie people so i used the filling by grandma ople and added the cinnamon vanilla, nutmega a lil mixed spice and omg what a crumble it made. To make the crumble topping i used the recipe on here "apple crumble pie" it turned out great. Taste better than mcdonalds apple pie.
