Nanaimo Bars I
Followed the advice of other reviewers, and used almonds and slightly less bread crumbs. I got compliments on them from a men's league. That, and the ease of the recipe, makes it a five star recipe.

Perfect Coconut Macaroons
Perfect is correct! Recipe didn't need any fiddling, they turned out wonderful first try. I like mine a little more toasted, so I may make them smaller next time, but they were still wonderful tasting.

Scottish Shortbread IV
I only had one cup wheat flour, and two cups white in the house. I had to just pat it out, as it ended up too soft to roll. I mixed with a dough hook in my mixer instead of kneading it. They turned out very nice. They did get soft after a while of sitting out, but I'm not sure if that was because of the flour... they were wonderful right after cooling.
