Southern Pimento Cheese

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2014
Wonderful recipe!! I followed the directions, minus the jalapeño and it turned out wonderful. Next time I'll try adding the mustard and worchestershire . Hope I can keep my hands of it until tomorrow while we watch the Masters.i grew up in Georgia and ate pimento cheese on and off, I'm originally from New Jersey and my mom just never made it. But I tried some from publix and was amazed at how fantastic it was and felt likei had been missing out on it. I also figured I'd make it myself since it was pretty simple ingredients. This recipe is fantastic. Can't wait to make again.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2012
What a wonderful recipe! I have been making this recipe for a while. When I first found it, I said to myself "cream of mushroom soup?!" But it came out better than delicious! The soup creates a delicious gravy and flavors the meat. What a wonderful recipe! Plus, you can always add carrots, onions, potatoes and celery if you'd like. This recipe is great for people on a time crunch- and just with the soup mixes and meat comes out delicious! Definitely worth a try!

Peppered Bacon and Tomato Linguine

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2009
This recipe was good alone, but l made a few minor changes that made it even better- taste-wise and health-wise. l first sauteed the chopped bacon and then drained it leaving only 3 Tbsp of grease, l added chopped vidalia onion and let that saute for about 5 minutes (until soft), then l added Frozen spinach and a the can of chopped tomato with juice- this was enough water to cook the frozen bag of spinach. l then let the onion, tomato, hot pepper flakes and spinach cook for about 7 minutes (until the spinach was fully cooked). After the pasta was cooked and drizzled with extra virgin olive oil, l added the cooked bacon pieces to the pan with spinach, tomatoes etc. so they would stay crisp. It came out WONDERFUL with a sprinkle of fresh parm. cheese. This dish tastes wonderful without bacon- if you're worried about cholesterol.
