Fresh Berry Coffeecake

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2012
DO NOT USE 2 CUPS OF FROZEN RASPBERRIES as it makes it too wet . My mistake for sure. Also the batter is way too thick it's like a thick muffin batter. Next time I will certainly thin it down with a bit of milk. Taste was very good....I wound up with raspberry floating cake lol....again my fault..

Foolproof Rib Roast

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2011
I varied the times on mine and it too turned out fantastic. I left roast to get to room temperature about 3 hours for a five pound Prime Rib. I then pre-heated my oven to 450F and roasted 1 hour then turned the oven off and left as stated 2 hours . Saves you a bit of time as well....

Thanks Carol for this old time favourite. Made as written with one addition of lemon rind. Turned out awesome. I also put the jam in then baked , that way it isn't sticky when you store them..

Lemon Delight

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2011
For myself who loves Lemon anything this is very good. I love the addition of the cream cheese and adding nuts in the base. This is what makes this dessert special and VERY different than lemon pie, not to mention you can cut this into lovely squares. Thanks for sharing , will be a favourite of mine and with many I serve it to.Thanks so much!!

Sarson Ka Saag (Indian Mustard Greens)

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2011
I love Indian food and also cook a lot of it as well. This dish exactly as is , is very delicious. If you don't enjoy very hot food , you may consider using only 1 pepper as they are large. I enjoyed this with Roti and makes a lovely lunch or light meaL.

Cranberry Orange Loaf

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2010
Thanks Carol for a wonderful recipe...I made 18 mini loaves with a double batch and they turned out fantastic. I did chop the cranberries in the food processor for easy distribution for the smaller loaves..they took a mere 20 mins to cook....again a super fail proof recipe exactly as you wrote it.. thanks this is a sure fired keeper...

Pineapple Zucchini Loaf

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2010
I have been baking for almost 50 years and this is by far one of the best zucchini loaves ever...moist , full of flavour and a real hit with my friends when I give it to them. Thanks for the recipe. I made it exactly as written..needed no changes whatsoever. A tip I do is line the entire inside of my loaf pan with wax paper and that stops the loaves from getting too brown on the sides ...

Apple Cake V

Reviewed: May 14, 2010
This cake is very good . I gave it only 4 stars as I found it didn't need so much sugar and fat. Like the others I reduced them , I added 1 c sugar and 3/4 c oil. Turned out fantastic...I also added some spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, alspice) very nice warm addition to a great cake..thanks..
