Rich and Creamy Beef Stroganoff

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2013
I reduced the red pepper to 1/2 teaspoon, no cream cheese, dash of red wine. Pretty good although I'd probably try it in the crock pot next time for more tender beef.

Hot German Potato Salad III

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2013
As others mentioned need to double the sauce and use red potatoes so they hold together well. Good flavor though.

Cha Cha's White Chicken Chili

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2012
Based on the other reviews I made a few changes. I only used 2 cans of beans since my family doesn't like beans, and I pureed one of the cans to thicken the broth. I also did not use jalepenos, and I substituted chili powder for cayenne. I think next time I may use the cayenne or perhaps smoked paprika.

Delicious! I have made this the past few years for Christmas morning. My bundt pan is in storage so I have been making it in my 13X9 pan.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2010
Very tasty. I think I might have baked them a minute or two longer than I should have as they broke when I took most of them off. Very tasty!

This was delicious and very different. I used 8 oz of cheese (that's all I had) and I blended it all together.

Pork Tenderloin with a Honey Grape Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2009
This was pretty good, although I made some alterations. I omitted the shallots, used about 1 teaspoon of garlic, used some rosemary, and used Montreal Steak Seasoning as the rub. I used ground ginger, omitted the five spice, and doubled the remainder of the ingredients for the sauce. The basic pork was very tasty. The sauce was good, just a bit different.

This recipe is great! I also use 1 t of vanilla to give it a little different taste, but it's great just the way it is!

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2009
This was pretty good and very easy. The changes I made: I used frozen chicken breasts, used Rotel, onion powder, 2 c chicken broth, 1 c water, and 1 can of corn. I also used store bought tortilla chips. When serving, I offered sour cream.

Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2009
I have made this same recipe for years. Since I first made it, it has been required for me to bring this to Thanksgiving every year. I sometimes omit the bourbon and chop only about half the pecans. Delicious!

Made this recipe this morning as muffins - delicious! I used 3 bananas mashed instead of sliced and eliminated the walnuts.

Grilled Pork Tenderloin with Balsamic Vinegar

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2009
Now, I REALLY DON'T like pork, but I like this! I added a tablespoon of dijon mustard, and I also heated and reduced the remainder of the marinade to spoon over the pork. This is what made the pork for me.

Jam Filled Butter Cookies

These were pretty tasty, although I felt like a little something was missing. This made a little less than indicated, but still plenty. These are going in my Christmas gifts to friends and neighbors.

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2004
We had a party Saturday night, and this was the only thing there was nothing left to speak of. My husband has been bugging me to make this again every day since. I used a little less cheddar, substituted blue cheese dressing, and threw some blue cheese crumbles on top. Definitely a keeper!

Champagne Punch III

I made this for our Christmas party last night and it was a hit! I omitted the cranberry juice in fear of it getting on my new carpet and it was not missed : )I also made an ice ring with orange juice, lemon juice, and mint for garnish. I had 3 people ask me for the recipe after taking one sip.

Banana Banana Bread

This is a fabulous recipe! I was planning on making it as the bread, but I could not seem to find my loaf pan. I made muffins, and boy were they good! When they were baking my husband kept asking when they were going to be done. They went quickly. Thanks for the best recipe!
